They swell like a balloon. I put a plate upside down that fits inside the crock pot. I use what we use to freeze sweet corn etc. Love my vacuum sealer.
I used to have the Professional Sealer and every 2 years without fail it died. The last time I bought the cheapest $69.00 buck manual sealer (so I have to use scissors to cut my bags) and it has been with me for 5 years and still working great. I LOVE my vacuum sealer, worth every penny. It's a great way to store smelly things.

Same here. I had the stainless one. Lasted around 3 or 4 years of freezing around 40 quarts of beans, corn etc. A year. It would have cost me more to repair it than a $59 manual job. Mines around 4 years old now. My wife and I started gardening again in 1980. We bought one that lasted us through two kids until around the early 90's. They haven't lasted like they used to.

So I saw an episode of Bong Appetite (if you are a foodie and a stoner and have not seen it... you NEED to) and they suggest just using a canning jar in boiling water.. to de carb without browning the buds? I think they may even add the butter and all to the jar to immerse it... let me see if I can find it

Dragged a rice cooker out of the garage, it runs at 195 degrees. Put a ziplock in it and held it down in the water, it is holding together well. I could also use it to evaporate the ethanol concentrate outdoors, away from any ignition source. I need to check the temp in the warm setting. (106)
