Good to c u around Reals! Man, those are are my minis. The smaller plants like that always seem to do better for me.
Heres my 3 mini Tangerine Dreams & a SnoBall overfilling this 4x4. Anything around 8 zips is a small plant. But I'll be damned if the 8-12 oz plants dont always look so much prettier then the monsters. De-Fo took me 2 weeks & I ended up double & triple plucking the same plants over by com9ng back to them filling in so fast I kept thinking I missed leaves. Nope, just kept growing back so fast. Me not being much of a real De-Fo kindve guy but also knowing I dont have a choice when my veg isn't trained at all prior to going into flower. Just a pinch na topping here n there to bush out.
So now they're not reproducing leaves that fast & only a wk out from the 3 wk/day 21 round. Will prob just skip it.Anyways, heres a true monster. All the way down to it's scary looking purple stems. Freaking sad.

I gotta admit it is really nice looking. And I did give you shit in the other thread. I just csnt see paying that much for a light. Its insane. I like how its laid out too. I havent really looked at it other than price. For that kindve money I can build a light that will grow just as good. May not be as efficient, but that's ok bc my growing skills way outway my light building skills. What did it set you back to your door?
Edit: it can be the hps killer. I've dubbed mine the 1kHPS killer. It very easy to build a light that will out perform 1k hps.

I guess I just enjoyment put of building them. But do you not think you could build the same light for less? You can buy all the components that's in it separately. Not new new to the led game. I was using some SMD leds back before I joined in 2009. Only bc I work lighting/sign company. I had a different name until 2013. But its def a nice light. $1.44/watt ain't too awful bad. Definitely better than most companies that put out subpar lighting. If you got room for that light then rock it. But it's way too big for little get up. For now anyway. Thinking about pulling the tents out and building a room. The only problem is my area is an old cellar type structure. That's built into a hill side. It was used for civil war slaves back during the civil war. When we moved in. I found the building out in the woods on some.of the property. There used to be a house next to it. So it had electric service already run to it. But there were still chains n cuffs bolted to the wall. And old bars on an interior wall that used to be an outside wall. Its perfect in the summer time. Bc the temp in the actual room stays at about 55° even when it's over 100° out. But in the winter time bc the ground gets super cold. It's pretty cold un the room. So I would have to run heaters. To maintain the temp during night cycle. But the tents hold enough heat at lights off. Plus i have a veg tent that run during flower lights off cycle to help keep it warmer. But the space is big enough to build a wall. And make two rooms. Veg n flower. The only set back is heating. Electric heating is expensive. They dont make heaters as efficient as leds. Lol. If I build rooms a light that size i could understand. But for that money I can build two flower lights and a veg light for my tents. I look forward to smashing that ass in this comp though. Lol. Its 880w buf mine clocked 908. Prob cuz mine doesn't have the square series Oslons. Or the MW'S go a lil higher.
I'm a lil disappointed the lights on third party sales places that never get the specs right & it's still not o the website. Along with all the upgrades they did last yr. Slacking on mtkg & I'm sure peeps wanna know things w/o having to ask.

Convert that space man. They do make large efficient heaters now but to be honest some of the best results I've seen are HPS led mixed & thays all youd need to split the difference on efficiency & heat. Its actually the most efficient way to go if that ur issue. MH's in veg will keep the place warm enough as a whole when lights are out in flower unless its all totally divided. My minisplit puts out heat & has auto mode too. Does big areas & theres much nicer ones that split in 2 & 4 that come down from the ceiling. Not that much doe either if you're willing to go there. It's a big move but worth it if you have the time & ambition. Haha. I used too.
Oh, it's about 44 cents more a watt then building something decent urself buf w/o so much more that u wont be getting just to have a major amount of uninsured raw photons far from engeniered by a proff.
Sure. Save 44 cents for who knows what, for who knows how long & no matter how hard you try you'll never make something better for less money. It's been discussed here several times.

I got a board from waveform its def not a qb by all means. But it's like 94cri and only 108w max. 4k. I put two elcheapos on the side of it. Thinking about using it jus for this comp.

I would love to enter, but my main issue would be the fact that, unless I build another small enclosure, my led solo cup grow, would be in an empty side of a 4x8, and unfortunately the other side of that 4x8 has a hps running in it! and even tho the solo wouldnt be under the hps, I already know some of that light would be making it to the solo, but if I'm able to throw something together in the next few days, I'm down! but I just don't know if I'll have the time to handle it with such short notice!

One possible solution.
Get a small tent (2' x 2') and put it in the larger tent if that is acceptable to Judge Dredd.
Germination starts the 15th but germination process doesn't have to be shown until the end of the month so you still would have a couple of weeks to get set up.
