Although, I dare say, you are more in denial now, than asleep. Which is both comical and frighteningly telling. I wasn't as fortunate then to have somebody patiently explain reality to me, as I do for you. What's your excuse? Apathy? Stockholm syndrome?

Myself I think we need public schooling. Unfortunately we do have to pay for this service provided to ALL.
You used it with all your kids. The school bus, the teachers, the building heat..etc all were used by you and yours. Everyone uses something that they learned in school...even you. Can you honestly say that no teacher ever had an impact on you and you life. I had four. My second grade teacher, my fifth grade teacher and my two teachers in high school all said something or did something that impacted me greatly.
I also come from a family of teachers. From mom to sister to aunt and grandmother. Do tell how you would pay teachers in your utopia ?
