What's the current best deal on a qb kit in the US? Trying to light a 5x5 test area. Having a dimmable driver is important.

What do you mean by in The US? Meaning that you live in USA and want to know the cheapest deal for a kit or fixture shipped to you there?

Cause if so, the best deals are from Alibaba in China Land.

Deals change and I'm asking what the current best deal is. I didn't ask where the cheapest source is for buying 100 units I'm asking about a couple lights for a 5x5.

K, what am I lookin at price wise? Are 550s the best choice?
A big part of my question is what's the best board to use currently. Been about a year since I last looked an decided to wait.

You get the same shit at a much lower cost.
NO CHINA BS . NO OVERSEAS CRAP , “ WARRANTY “ from HLG .

It’s really that simple.

Another source for “ comparable “ is Atreum lighting.

Those are NOT real “ quantum boards “ as should be expected. Ebay crap.
Many “ sellers “ bulk purchase boards from mainland China at a lower BULK cost and resell at a higher cost .... usually with chips that are not stated . You think the reseller really gives a shit about whether it will work or if they are guaranteed ?

Contact @robincnn and @Stephenj37826 DIRECTLY and discuss your shipping destination.
I got USPS priority on all my gear ..... ZERO PROBLEMS.

I will put it like this ... I have rig running perpetually since ( Dec. 2015 ) original S5 boards.
They are as bright as from day one . Over 3 years non stop.
You get what you pay for.

Your call ... I go with knowing what I’m buying.

Look at ATREUM LIGHTING also. I’m just not the type to just throw real money at Ali Baba or Ebay.

It looks to me you are serious about growing if you are hunting a light for a 5x5.
CMH is another option.

I mean.. been at it for about 10 years. Fairly serious I guess but not super serious. My main area is 2x 1000 watt DE gavitas currently. In the past I was doing 8kw rooms. Def smaller scale now days.

Basically a led skeptic but I want them to work. I've bought them a few times over the years an always went back to hps

Thanks for the link. I may have missed it but I couldnt see the complete kits?
No complete kit but order 2 x board+heatsink @ $75 each, add HLG 240H-54 driver @ $50. The frame can be made from aluminum angle from the local hardware store.

I'm just gonna through in there that if your an LED skeptic, but want them to work then I would try to actually run some wattage so you really get some light. A 5x5 space is 25 sqft, which should be a minimum of 750 watts, but really 1000 watts would produce much better.

If I should run 1000 watts for it why not just run DE hps? My gavitas easily do a 5x5 or slightly more. And only cost 300 for 1kw.
