Looking for an honest place to buy quality vape carts

Just recently got screwed out of 170 for some dank vape carts. Guys instagram page vanished 2 days after I purchased carts. I'm so tired of dishonest people. Please go to work and make your money since most people work hard for what they have. I'm just looking for an honest source for quality vape carts, preferably dank vapes. Just looking for someone who ships and wants to do some business.

@Vonkins
What type are you looking for?

Are you looking for empty carts or filled?

Do you want ones that can be refilled a few times, ones with replaceable wicks, single use, any extra info would help.

Can you post a photo?

Contact [email protected] (Dank Vapes parent company) and ask them about either purchasing wholesale or a list of authorized dealers in your area, this way you can get the real deal instead of some knock off.

You mentioned looking for a source for quality vape carts, preferably Dank Vapes.
I have never used their product, but I would be suspicious about their product because it one of the cheapest, so chances are it's crystalline THC that has had some terpenes and flavoring added.

Another company that I also suspect that does this is FlavRx and their prices are reasonable, or at least they used to be.
The thing about FlavRx is that they don't have the same superficial image, so the chances of imposters is much lower.

Also, recently someone did some testing on a Dank Vapes Hardcore OG cartridge and they found pesticide residue and the test results show little to no other cannabioids, which back up my thoughts on them using crystalline THC.
So much for Dank Vapes being "quality", eh?
Here's the link to the page with the test:

A few things about vape carts

A company a yr or so ago went to cali, Oregon, Washington, and a few other legal states and bought over 500 off the shelf vape carts. 85% came back positive for pesticides. Might as well be spraying ambectin and myclobutinal directly in your lungs with every vape hit.

Make your own, or very much trust who you get your product from.

Unless you just dont care.

Also refilling ceramic bases carts is not healthy. The ceramic breaks down and causes bad issues, albeit unknowingly to the user.

This is why I like the elcheapo disposable carts. Use, toss in the bin when done.

@DemonTrich

I knew the pesticide thing in vape carts was bad, but I didn't realize it was that bad...
Wow!

I second the part about the ceramic bases. They play them up like they are better, but in reality they breakdown and then you are inhaling micro crystals of ceramic with every puff, not good...

Can I add terps/flavors to my own oil. Just to have something different from time to time. These are some brands but I dont know if they are quality. Flavor west brand and floraplex terpenes.

@Vonkins,
16-21 grams of flowers has about 1.6 to 2.1 grams of total cannabinoids (THC, CBD, CBN, Etc...) in it, so mixing it with 16 ounces of VG will produce a mix that is going to be 99.6% to 99.7% VG with about 0.3-0.4% Cannabinoids.
If your flowers are 18% THC, then this will be about 0.228 - 0.378 grams of THC, which is a lot by itself.

But mixing it with all that VG is going to dilute it down to where I don't think you will like it.

16 ounces of VG weighs about 597 grams, so a mix like this will have between 0.3819mg to 0.6332mg of THC per gram of the finished oil.

For example, a 500mg vape cartridge will have between 0.19mg and 0.32mg, for the entire cartridge.

Something to think about.

Sure can
I do to every cart.

Perfumeers apprentise or what ever its name is, is a great, low cost terp company. I used them for a few years before making the switch to floraplex terpenes. Floraplex is more $$, but well worth it.

Please and I mean PLEASE! Dont use peg400 or VG to dilute carts. That's just FN nasty as shit.

Always decarb oil before putting in carts. Also, less heat time your concentrate is the better so it doesnt degrade into cbn.

My magic butter requires a minimum of 16 oz of VG. So ur saying i should add more flower. How does 42-56 grams sound? I want this shit potent so I dont have to hit it over and over.

I always decarb my flower before I put it in my MB. So your saying 8hrs wont create a more potent oil. My MB has different temps and times. I definitely know low is better. My lowest temp setting is 160. Is 4 hrs better than 8hrs?

What's the best way to incorporate the terps/flavors into ur oil?

@Vonkins
To answer your question, I am going to need to know the amount of THC in your flowers.

Not to judge, but one of the major benefits I like about vaping is that I can regulate the dilution so I ramp up to the high, then I can keep the plateau going as long as I want, rather then it hitting like a freight train and me sitting there paralyzed, lol. Which is sometimes nice too when my brain won't shut the fuck up.

@Vonkins,
I am not sure where the "low and slow" idea came from but doing it this way just evaporates off the THC or oxidizes it to CBN, which if done in a sealed container is actually sort of a boutique product for people with PTSD.

Here's a video by Dr. Paul Hornby explaining how it's better to hit the temp quick, let it soak for a short time (20-30 minutes depending on mass), then let it cool down.
Scrub forward to 11m:23s, that's where he talks about decarbing.
The whole interview is good, so if you can find the time, you should watch it.
Here's the link:

Also here's a video of someone doing it.
I do it this way and it works.

I agree with @DemonTrich,
Don't use VG...
Or any of the PEG's (PolyEthylene Glycol), this includes PEG200, PEG 400, etc...
This crap is basically a polymer wax that is available in a multitude of molecular weights from as thin as water to like candle wax and everything in between.
Not only is this stuff not good for you, but the higher molecular weight liquids are self siphoning, which can cause your vape liquid to get pulled through your atomizers coil and into the area where the battery is (thankfully it's not conductive). If there isn't a seal in the battery area it will just continue to overflow and empty your cart all over the place over a day or two (ask me how I know)!

I post this video a lot

But you use what you want to use.

Ok I've decided to not go the magic butter route for e juice. I'm going to make some shatter from everclear then make ejuice from that. I have a couple of questions. Is dry ice necessary to have clean tasty shatter. What length of time and how many washes with QWET. I've seen people do 3 washes with 5, 10, and 15 minutes intervals. Also seen 3 washes with 1, 3, and 5 minute intervals. I want the best product possible. Should I winterize. Gonna evap the ethanol in a room set to 80 to 90 degrees and and osilating fan. I also read there is no need to decarb if ur making shatter/e juice
