You didnt just dry till it smoked then jarred?

I just do this, at two weeks of drying id call it smooth enough to smoke and dry enough not to make mold when jarred.

The other way seems to assume air rh sets your bud moisture content or that a normal natural dry like what was used before boveda spammed this place no longer works.

Ive no idea what over dry bud is if you let it naturally dry but shit bud tends to crisp up and seem overdried at this stage.

I dryed it in my cellar with humidity at 55% for 6 days then i trimmed and jarred it. 2 days in jar and humidity in jar is 58%. I read somewhere that humidity in jar should be 65% and i have to burp it down to eventually 55%. So i'm wondering if i over dried it before jarring?

Ya i dont subscribe to these recent stupid dry/cure methods sorry. Look above for an easier way :-)

58% is fine for long term in a jar. Just leave the lid on it for now.
It will a take a few days for the humidity to stabilize. If it gets too high dump it out on a tray for a few hours, then back into the jars. Burping has minimal effect if you jar too early.

No i haven't, how do i do that?
Use a second meter. You might. Find your meter isn't 100 correct and your closer to in range than you think.

However in this case I would throw bovada 62 at it.

I usually dont until I cure it out and am ready to store it long term.

But it will jump you into range and since your so close you will be ok. Imo

Ok thanks so you dry hang for 2 weeks then just put in jars? Btw my humidity in the jar is now 59% after 5 hrs, I'll burp it at 60%.
Yep but its dry enough to smoke after a week but give it another so its not releasing moisture into the jar. After two weeks it will loose that green taste. Crap bud is always crap no dry or cure can change it.

The fact you can smoke dried bud without the need to jar it and that many here do should hint at the actual dryness you want before jarring. Forget meters and boveda packs, spark up a joint of your harvest and that will tell you everything.

Im not sure why peeps need to check humidity of jars if bud is dry and you didnt jar in humid conditions then your bud will store mold free.

Dried bud still has ten percent or so moisture - at this level it grinds well smokes well and stores welk. This is enough for the cure to take place you dont need it wetter and all that modern ruvmbbush peeps do.

To overdry bud simply apply mild heat and see how dry it actualky is when you force that ten or so oercent out.

I cant say more, there is a large crowd of blind leading the blind, hit me up when you tire of their advice complex stuff and damp bud :-)

I dont give a fuck about your cartel.
Just stating that you were right that drying isnt that tough.
I personally like mine how i like it o_O
I got criticized here for saying to allow at least a week to dry. Maybe it was there lol. Either way, just like you, I like it how I like it.

I will say I prefer certain humidity levels for certain strains though. Hash plant has to be dried. Most of my high headed sativas I like more dry, brings out better flavor. There are a few indicas like blueberry that I prefer slightly more humid though. Guess it's just the consistency of that particular bud.

All that said, it should all turn to white ash when burned, even with high resin content.

Obviously you have no love for my cartel or our caliphate system, one day when our axis of power sweeps away your mother land with fire and fury you may decide that that insult was unwise oh infadel of the internet.

As for now i can agree with you that i am right. Futher to this those that do all this wet jar burp stuff seem to not realise my cartels way and refusal to try and learn our ancient ways often leads to a life of trolledom :-)

from jars to bags to being 5 day dry to being 12 days dry i have tried it all and to be honest when you have over 9 p to deal with i just bag it in the end wait 2-3 weeks and off i go by the time i reach p 2-3 its has settled down a bit and is very smooth but to be honest man i notice zero difference from jar to bag to 5 days to 12 if u let it sit its gonna smooth out
