Do you stop using it when male flowers appear or continue using it?
STS is Silver Thiosulfate. It's made from silver nitrate and sodium thiosulfate. What’s STS? Is it easier to make the. Coloidal ?
It takes ten minutes or less to mix up. It's less hassle than making colloidal silver. And you only need to spray the plant a couple times.Isn't that stuff a pain to make up
It's two water soluble chemicals. You mix each with water and then mix them together. It's really simple. And since you measure by weight you can make as much or little of solution as you need when you need it. These two chemicals are all you need.It comes ready to use? Use it straight?
No it isn't. It's as safe as bottled nutrients. That's because it's poisonous extremely
It's all over Ebay in Canada. Very commonly used in mining or ore operations. Can’t seem to find it in Canada the sodium. And it can’t be shipped here from the USA.
@xtsho Looks like it worked after all...?I tried STS using the 1:4 formula, and I didn't realize it but the tent was leaking light so it was actually in veg for a week after I sprayed it. Needless to say I see white hairs now a week or so later coming from that clone. When I fixed the light cycle I sprayed it again with the STS, but it looks no bueno. Maybe it will pop some pollen sacks, but now that it has shown white hairs, would any resulting pollen tend to produce seeds that will herm?
Anyways, the stock solution is apparently good for 30 days after mixing so I sprayed a branch of Gorilla Bomb and we'll see what happens with that one now that the light issue is fixed.
Yes it does.
