The last lot I did still had the seeds attached to them at this stage and these 2 have not so was just worried a little bit, no havnt got light on them right now, was going to leave them in the cupboard until tomorrow them move them to the tent, is that a good idea? They look fine to me. Do you have a light on them?
What is it about the taproot?
You can put them under 24hr light at this point. The last lot I did still had the seeds attached to them at this stage and these 2 have not so was just worried a little bit, no havnt got light on them right now, was going to leave them in the cupboard until tomorrow them move them to the tent, is that a good idea?
I have perlite but I'm not going to be using it for this growPerlite?
I was going to run a 18/6 cycleYou can put them under 24hr light at this point.
Oh shit I'm in work now il get them under light soon as I get homeGet them under some light sooner rather than later seedlings can get real leggy real quick
You'll be fine but if they do manage to stretch too much you can always bury the stem to just under the cotylodon leavesOh shit I'm in work now il get them under light soon as I get home
I buried them abit more this morning before the photos so I shall put them under light straight away when I get homeYou'll be fine but if they do manage to stretch too much you can always bury the stem to just under the cotylodon leaves
Thanks mate, yeah I got told not to feed fir the first 3 weeksthey look fine to me. as stated put them under light immediately at this point the longer you wait the more stretched they will get. you really don't want them to have the seed shells still stuck on them if it does happen that is okay as well you can always remove it by misting some water on it to soften the shell and let it go and if it still doesn't come off pry it off carefully as you can damage the seedling by doing so.
i've had the shells stuck on mine most of the time but i plant near the surface as well they will do fine though. only thing is because there is no light it might stretch a bit but thats an easy fix. continue to not over water and do not feed yet. if running coco then advise someone who has experience with coco as i only run peat moss based soils.
That information is wrong. I feed my plants in coco from the day they sprout - you never use plain water in coco. If you want to know how to grow in coco, I suggest reading the grow guide from www.cocoforcannabis.com. Good luck. Thanks mate, yeah I got told not to feed fir the first 3 weeks

i think OP said he was growing in a 50/50 ffof/coco mix. ffof contains some nutrients supposedly to last 3-4 weeks. if pure coco yes people already advise to start feeding. also on a side note how would he PH his medium because the 2 types require different PH i have no experience and am curious as well. That information is wrong. I think you might have your threads mixed up my friend. Other than your advice to not feed for 3 weeks, where in this thread does anyone advise to start feeding? And the OP doesn't say he is growing in a 50/50 ffof/coco mix. What post #'s do you refer to my friend?i think OP said he was growing in a 50/50 ffof/coco mix. ffof contains some nutrients supposedly to last 3-4 weeks. if pure coco yes people already advise to start feeding. also on a side note how would he PH his medium because the 2 types require different PH i have no experience and am curious as well.
I'm using canna coco as my medium
The 3 weeks thing is based off ffof not coco. I'LL go dig up where i saw this but you could be right maybe 2 different threadsI think you might have your threads mixed up my friend.
