It's perfectly normal to ask "why?" and look for answers - especially in a much safer part of the world where this is far from commonplace. When shit goes sideways in growing, don't you look for a reason and try to fix it? Seems to me you guys found people to blame for your towers going down, and started a whole war over it - so don't talk to me about finding 'blame'. It's more than that.I can’t believe everyone is more concerned with finding someone to blame. No ones to blame bar the person pulling trigger. Fucking hell
Sure, the person pulling the trigger is to blame. But we got that pesky little detail all wrapped up with a ban on automatic weapons in 24 hours. Imagine that. Still doesn't answer the "why?' question though, does it?
There's such a thing as 'fanning the flames' - which is a common thread woven into the Quebec mosque gunman, the murdered Maryland journalists, and the asshole in New Zealand, in that they found inspiration from the propaganda being spewed upon your country. You're not in a bubble. The world is watching. And it's not a good look.
I'm not here to fight, or argue. But to deny culpability or influence at this point is a case of wilful denial.
