How do they look so far?

Yea they are all heavy Indy. I actually prefer them to grow up instead of out. That’s why I waited so long to top them. I’m probably just being impatient. Is there any correlation between potency and veg time? Or does veg only correlate to yield? I’m not so much concerned with the yield as I am with the quality of the bud.
To the best of my knowledge veg time won't effect potancy. It will effect yield, and plant maturity. If the plant isn't genetically mature enough to flower yet, even if you flip the lights it can take weeks for it to begin to flower. 30 days from seed is still pretty damn young. You can still flip them, but know they won't begin to flower for a couple weeks, they need to transition between stages.

Out of curiousity why do you want them to grow up instead of out? Keeping a nice even canopy is definitely a good idea, and tall plants are harder to do that with. Its also harder for light to penetrate down to the lower bud sites of the plant. Thus my suggestion to remove the upper fan leaves, and let the side nodes reach up and get light.

It’s just seems like I have more vertical space than horizontal space available right now. If I undo the ties they are about 10 inches tall right now. I’m planning on waiting till they hit about 13 inches tied down...... I think from when the seed split they are 35 days.

Sounds like a good plan, I think if you waited for them to be 10-13ish inches tied down and flowered them you would have some solid plants. They will likely get to about double that size. It will make it easy to have air flow and get light penetration. I wouldn't untie them though, keep them tied down it will add support to the plant structure.

I would personally still do the fan leaf removal I talked about. That will really help you get a few tops that come up to the light and not just one tall top and lower scraggy stuff. If your worried about stress just do it one at a time over a few days. That's how do most of my pruning. One leaf today another tomorrow. The plant won't feel a thing and it will direct it's growth energy to the new tops that are getting light. That will really help take advantage of the LST you've done and create a structured base to the plant.

Cool, I’ll try taking off one and see how they react then go from there. I definitely don’t want to waste any light or plant energy

^^^^^ agree on some moderate “ pruning “ of certain leaves. They are indeed Indy heavy plants and quite healthy. You have plenty of time to still get to setup a nice structure before any flip.

Take off the most shaded areas, lowest soil touching also , you can also spin pots so they grow out according to light ( the 3 ) bottom left and right and upper left plant so they don’t really favor growing towards a corner direction . You still apply LST to them also to SHAPE it more .

If you shape them right and allow more penetration they will bud out quite nicely.
I pull leaves and LST all the time. They are pretty resilient plants and as long as they are as healthy as yours they will recover.

The arrows are the leaves you would take off? Also, can parts of the leaf be removed? Ex. taking 2 fans off of a 5 fan leaf?...... I have definitely been rotating them so I get light to different places but it’s getting harder to position them without the leaves overlapping anymore. Do they heal better if you cut them and leave a nub like you do with topping?
