To the best of my knowledge veg time won't effect potancy. It will effect yield, and plant maturity. If the plant isn't genetically mature enough to flower yet, even if you flip the lights it can take weeks for it to begin to flower. 30 days from seed is still pretty damn young. You can still flip them, but know they won't begin to flower for a couple weeks, they need to transition between stages.Yea they are all heavy Indy. I actually prefer them to grow up instead of out. That’s why I waited so long to top them. I’m probably just being impatient. Is there any correlation between potency and veg time? Or does veg only correlate to yield? I’m not so much concerned with the yield as I am with the quality of the bud.
Out of curiousity why do you want them to grow up instead of out? Keeping a nice even canopy is definitely a good idea, and tall plants are harder to do that with. Its also harder for light to penetrate down to the lower bud sites of the plant. Thus my suggestion to remove the upper fan leaves, and let the side nodes reach up and get light.
