Will you publicly disavow support of the Bolshevicks, because all you have done is call me a nazi for suggesting mass murder perpetrated by them was wrong.

Golan is Israel. War is hell. Don't wage war against someone, and then ask for takesy backsies when you get your ass handed to you. Golan has everything to do with security and water. Israeli farmers were shelled for 20 years by Syrian artillery from Golan as they worked like sitting ducks. Not a chance that happens again.

It appears the space time rift causing timelines of different dimensions to mix up realities is affecting people across the globe differently, and per topic. Imagine waking up and the GOP is suddenly the party who wants a Green Deal and Dems want tax cuts for the rich. That’s how I feel when I read a thread about Israel on rollitup, in an episode of Sliders. Not so much because of the sometimes justfied criticism from the left, but magats speaking truth. It really just shows the power of the media and propaganda, on both sides. Shit’s all fucked.

Facts, and to add the most important: They have nowhere else to go. Only place that tolerates anti-semitism as little as Israel is Germany, but well, for obvious reasons they don’t want to go/return to that area of the world. Nowhere else to go, only place to be safe. Safe from the rest of the world, who continues to find ways to demonize them, to kill them. Jews continue to move from large european cities due to increasing anti-semitism from far-right and muslim immigrants.

Only safe place to be... if that doesn’t make it “home”, what does... Israel is already their final stronghold, making it easy to rationalize a strong response. The harder others try to wipe them off the planet, the more they expand their land. That’s just righteous.

Unfortunately, it’s your leader who gives them the kiss of death. Getting support from Trump is a great way to lose any sympathy. Shitty situation Israel is in, even if they pick a better leader, he/she will still need the US on their side, even if that means sucking up to Trump, and with that continue to lose symptahy from the left. At the same time, we both know Trump doesn’t really give a shit about the people in Israel.

Oh, I don't know. I think Netanyahu would be considered an asshole in an alternative universe where Trump was not the prez of the US.

I get where you are coming from. I just think that Israel should take a different path than all out suppression and aggression. The Golan Heights is not Israel's territory, for example. Probably ok for it to occupy but not to claim as its own. Same for all of Jerusalem. Also, it's time to seek peace with the people in Gaza. Israel is in a hard spot, what with it being that Palestinians out number Jews in the territory it now occupies.

Palestinian backed Hamas has been doing it for DECADES.

Huh? With the minority who doesn’t support Hamas? As long as the people in Gaza support Hamas whose primary objective is the destruction of Israel, it’s not up to Israel to seek peace. If Gaza was a strip in SoCal we wouldn’t be talking about this because the US would have taken the most effecfive road to peace a long time ago: a decisive win.

Pointing out the fact Trump only cares about Trump and not people in Israel doesn’t suggest they “need” more. They, Palestinians and Israelis, could certainly use a POTUS with integrity and diplomatic skills, rather than the extreme opposite. A POTUS who understands the art of the deal, who understands the leverage acquired by supporting Israel military.
