I’m going to be setting up a grow in closet that has a 2 foot x 5 foot space. Can anyone suggest efficient quantum board kit or other led light to use ? Thank you for your time !
I'd even go with just a few bad Ass, high power 4ft (44") Samsung Hinflux Strips on an hlg320/480-48A.Because of the length of the space, I would like to use a fixture at least 44" long for some uniformity. I have used cobs and F-strips on an array I built and they work well. Plenty of info in this section.
90CRI, 3190k, up to 60 watts... very very VERY groovy!Actually scratch all that. Damn I just saw this.

These are <$10 and are 2'(21-22")strips putting out 9000lumens at 1.2amps. 46v.
Very very groovy.
Or just use 6 per 2X4 and blast out the 1.2MA through em all for 350watts.Those cree strips from Cutter are a really good buy, they are lower in efficiency than Nichia or Samsung's but at the price point you can run double the amount of them.
If you're looking for the lowest cost though, 6 and 6 would work. 12 total for the 4X4. You mean 24 total?I would use 12 of them to cover that area, that way you could lower them an extra inch to gain more hitting the plants
I guess you'd save the 50 or however much in heatsinks. I'd need to actually see what the order for u channel would cost.I mean 12 to cover 2x4. This would give near perfect coverage and you can run them lower to make them last longer
