think about dirt..dirt saw the first creatures crawl out of the primordial ooze, the evolution from protozoa to enormous dinosaurs. dirt saw the meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs, dirt saw the mammals come out of their trees and caves and evolve into everything that's alive today....including us...dirt saw the crusades...dirt knows how and if that big rock got rolled back, dirt saw the romans march across the known world, the persians push them back....
dirts seen some shit, man, and knows ALL the secrets...dirt may be old, but it knows wtf is up...

Show some respect. Before biology came along and made dirt what it is today, it was a rather more dignified Regolith.

Consider our satellite. Its surface is now 99.999999995% regolith and a smidge of dirt. Behold biology.
