No, a perpetual set up will have clones vegging in one space, clones rooting in another getting ready for veg.Well i thought you let clones veg for a few weeks then put them into flowering..only way to pull faster than that would to put clones straight into 12/12 and wouldnt that effect yield drastically
Flowering area where you can have flowering plants at various stages.
My old one before I switched to LED, I had 3x 600w hps in a 4x8 tent and a 4x4 veg tent, the flower tent was staggered in 3 batches of 4 plants. An 8 week strain , normally taking 9 weeks, so divide that by how many stages of flowering plants, pretty much a crop every 3 weeks not including drying time. A pound or just less every 3 weeks. That was with my hps and I wasn't fussy about filling my space, easy to get more than that.
Edit, when I changed to LED I changed my set up and cut down to 2 crops in my flower tent but 7 weeks veg. Increased yield to 2lb per 5 week. But you have to be ahead of yourself in veg with lots of clones to spare and have plants potted up vegging while having clones vegging in smaller pots.
