the reason i asked about the light is i'm wondering if running them 24/0 would help them instead of having a dark cycle? i've tried many of them and i still go back to 24/0 for the best results. as a C3 plant they dont' need to sleep. Thanks all. I jumped the gun a little bit and the super thrive will be here tomorrow. I will get the kelp from lowes this weekend. I will add more hydro because there may be some light getting through.
I have them on 18/6
you can do that too. just follow the directions on the ST. it really is just a few drops needed.Rocket man,
What are your thoughts on if I keep the one reservoir and just add the Superthrive? I was reading up in this stuff and I may be putting it into the main res anyway. It sounds like it works great! At least for the next two water changes (some info says the entire veg cycle). Just wondering as I am running out of room in the tent. But I do think I can fit it in. Maybe keep the EC around .4 or .5 for another 7-10 days. Thanks again!
now you got it! i'm also a bearded farmer myself. lol.My bad! I just actually looked at your name. It is not rocket at all. I think I am closer with Rocky Mountain Man.
before you call it quits on the one that has roots, i would mix up some water and peroxide and dunk the whole netpot into it. at least a few times. then go back to max dose of hydroguard and very light nutes.I am going to give it one more week as I added the suggested levels of hydroguard

on the one that has no roots, why not just try to gently remove the plant from the hydroton and see what the hell is going on with it? maybe you could gain some info as to why it never started rooting?
but anyhow, onwards and forwards. start some new plants in a grow journal and let's see how the next ones turn out.
Perfect!
