Good ideaYea i agree with getogrow. Not worth it man. Hell think youve gone behind his back. You could always say let me experiment with this quarter of the plants???
No I'm notYou have guys on here that grow professional and some who can grow dank in a shoebox , I'm not too concerned about being laughed at by the owner of that sad room
Are you by chance in a newly legal state OP?
I am and suddenly everyone thinks they are pro
First let me say I would LOVE to have a room like that! Ew the things I would do in that room, they would be so lovely.
.
The way he's growing so far the quality will probably be really lowYea but isnt indoor more potent?
Hahaha. The possibilities are endless
Don't bother, instead offer to either take it over so he can focus on his outdoor or take 500 bucks worth of equipment, lights, fans etc....I'm tempted to send him this post to see what he says. He doesnt know I post stuff like this.
Do it and tell us the crap he says to defend himself hahaI'm tempted to send him this post to see what he says. He doesnt know I post stuff like this.
There would be much of this !
There would be much of this !
That room would be nice. But it's more than I would want or need. I'm happy with my little setup. With so many other things to do I don't have time for anything bigger. Well maybe if I stayed off the forums.First let me say I would LOVE to have a room like that! Ew the things I would do in that room, they would be so lovely.
Learning to water properly is the number one issue I see here. For the size of the plants the light shouldn't really be a big issue.
Obviously it could have been more ideal to have smaller pots but I think trying to transplant again now would probably kill these plants.
I think you need to check the humidity in that room, I bet with 4 HID lights it is dry as hell. Which will screw with the plants water/nutrient usage and growth.
I believe with coco it is usually recommended not to let it completely dry out. Also 6.5 ph is too high. I believe most people run coco like hydro and keep ph between 5.8 and 6.0
Growing inside in coco is way different then outside in dirt.
In all reality I think these plants are probably a loss. If you are only in for $500 then that's not bad. If the dude takes the advice an fixes things great. If not tell him you want a pound I his outdoor . Either way I would go a head and right it all off now in your head. So if you get nothing your not upset.
Everyone thinks growing weed is super easy , but there is a lot more to growing good weed then anyone realizes until they try .
You plants look a weeee bit different than those in that room
I wouldn't bother. Finish this out and then just do your own thing.I'm tempted to send him this post to see what he says. He doesnt know I post stuff like this.
Yeah but I'm using a 4 ft 4 bulb T5. And we all know those will outgrow five 1000 watt DE's all day long. You plants look a weeee bit different than those in that room
About a pound LOLYeah but I'm using a 4 ft 4 bulb T5. And we all know those will outgrow five 1000 watt DE's all day long.
He never uses seeds only clones. He's actually told me not to start from seed bc of obvious reasonsThat room would be nice. But it's more than I would want or need. I'm happy with my little setup. With so many other things to do I don't have time for anything bigger. Well maybe if I stayed off the forums.
But yeah, 6.5 is high for coco. I've been running 6.0 for years. Nothing but healthy plants. Coco is so easy because you control everything you give your plants. I don't understand how you could screw things up that bad. I have plants bigger than that under T5's right now that are healthy. Looking at that picture of the grow room is brutal. So much potential.
If someone asked me to fix that grow the first thing I would do is start some more seeds then go through the room and rip up all those plants. It doesn't matter if the plants can be saved. They're screwed. A seed I plant today will likely be doing better in four weeks than any of those plants regardless of what's done to them.
We also don't know much about what the guys doing. He's got those plants under HPS. I wonder if he's got them on 12/12 already and feeding them bloom nutes.
I would scrap that grow. Starting again from seed correctly would be better than nursing those things along just to limp over the finish line.
These are just under T5's in 3 gallon pots of 100% coco and topped a few days ago. I know what I could do with that room.
