See how the cup isnt full of roots? When you water only around the edges of the cube, the roots concentrate only inside the cube for a bit. I dont have any science behind it but I believe why my cup did not get as rootbound or full of roots as others is because of this little tip I learned.

6oz is easily good for another 10g's.

The root mass shape does look weird on @Thegermling plant, I know it was grown at an angle so maybe it bent the cup or something
