I just use a C-clamp and a metal cylinder. It's a rigged up method but it works and I had everything in my garage. How do you press your keif? Trying to find a good method...

I dont like pressed lift as much as normal generally. When you press it then you have to break off pieces that burn strong but turn into little coals. Some people prefer it but not most I'd sayYeah I love using dry ice bags - bough a cheap little set off amazon for like $30 or something, totally worth it. Make a trip to the grocery store every three months or so for dry ice What you ended up with there looks and sounds about like what comes out of my 120 or 160 bag... Still works just fine though! Waste not, want not right? What I've been trying to figure out is if it's really worth it to make proper pressed hash, or just crown my bowls with keif or make edibles which is what I usually do... Enjoy it!

I like it loose as well but I press it and give it to friends. They think it's neat. Reminds them of the Hash we used to get in the seventies and eighties.
Another thing with pressing it is that if you put some in a bowl it won't go out. It keeps burning like coals in a barbecue.
Basically what I said some people def like it. Like people from middle eastI like it loose as well but I press it and give it to friends. They think it's neat. Reminds them of the Hash we used to get in the seventies and eighties.

Really? I've hated it when I tried it I threw at least 40 grams in the garbage I couldn't get it to press very well an it didn't smoke well by itself I did some some of the first lightest colored stuff and it was ok. Dry ice is just to expensive to make a low quality product imoDry ice is the way I do it.
How dry was it and did you freeze it first?Really? I get got melt from the 120,freeze good an just a couple of bounces hardly touch it.The first time I made sifted hash I used a silk screen from an art store. It worked decent, but I over did it and it still ended up green.
What color was it? You can over shake it and start to get leaf material in it. I only shake for a few seconds to get just the trichomes.Really? So long as it wasnt green it should have been ok. It really shines when you bake with it.Really? Tried it a few times with trim that was maybe like 2-3 weeks old also tried it with fresh frozen tiny buds/trim I shook the bag for a couple seconds an tried the super blonde hash that stuff was ok but not great at the end of It I don't think I ever made my money back on the ice the 2-3 times I tried. Oh an I've pressed it into rosin a few time with different size bags always turns out really bad the the quality of a 2nd or 3rd press you would do with bubbleHow dry was it and did you freeze it first?
Needs to be really dry and frozen first.. Makes better quality that way..
Lightly mist your keif and warm it a bit to make it press.....Read my first post in this thread....
Years ago if a coal felt out your joint we called it a hot rock, stoners were merely identified by the tiny burn holes in their clothes which were called hotrock holes and locally blim burns.I dont like pressed lift as much as normal generally. Yeah I can see the use for that. bubble hash just seems like an overall better option only advantage for dry ice imo is it's really easy and fast. But I mostly just smoke it or make rosin I hate baking I might try making some gummies soonSo long as it wasnt green it should have been ok. It really shines when you bake with it.
When you use leaf it's never going to be a great smoke even if you use leaf to make bho it's a meh imo..
My favorite rosin is low temp press of nice fresh buds so much flavor I don't dab very much but I treat myself with a few bud presses every harvestI wanted the taste of heat pressed hash, other concentrates just leave me coughing and hit me like crack
I've done it, yield is a letdown, isnt really any good. For me it took more dry ice hash by weight to get a gram of rosin than it does bud to get a gram of rosin.Anyone ever press dry ice hash into rosin? Any tips or tricks? I tested pressing some for a friend the yield/quality wasn't worth the time and cost of bags to press for me. The ice hash I made yielded ok but not as much as bubble or my trim bin kief.
Yeah same experience for me with pressing it I really thought it would work great haha I'll stick will bubble hash for the rosin it's crazy how expensive the filter bags are you have to have good material and a good system to make it worthwhileI've done it, yield is a letdown, isnt really any good. For baking 5-8g of dry ice hash for a batch of cookies is what I reccomend. 1 cookie for light and 2 cookies for a nap. Makes around 30 cookies they way I size them.
