LEC CMH leaf deficiencies

FWIW I have same strain running under DE HPS and CMH (both 1kW) and they eat the same. I don't believe that CMH requires a stronger or different feed than HPS. Perhaps the soil pH is off or something.

600w hps in air cooled hood compared to cmh 630 double 315’s. From reading the 1000w DE is comparable to the 630cmh..idk.. PH of soil has been checked and in soil 6.5 and 7 ph

The 630 watt CMH doesn't = a 1kW HPS. I know, tried it side by side.

You mentioned well water … Chances are it’s hard water. Hard water can cause lock out for the nutrients. What is the ppm of the well water out of the tap ?

You may want to consider an RO system.

It’s 300pm out of the tap. The 600w HPS had no issues with the well water.
I may have to go RO.

Earthworm castings as a soil mix and top dress before flower flip. GO bio thrive and GO calmag+ previously and on the photos added earlier.

Bio Thrive grow or bloom.
Worm casting and bio thrive bloom isn't enough N.. I would suggest using Peruvian guano just before flip and Jamaican for later in flower.

Just way less growth, changed it to a 1kW CMH about 23 days into 12/12 because the 630cmh was lagging hard compared to the 1kW DE HPS lights.

Here is the difference between the lights.



The plant on the front/right is the one that was under a 630 for a while, the one behind it was always 1kW DE HPS. Way less buds, way shorter plant.

Nanolux makes a 1kW DE CMH setup, I have a few of those in my veg room. @GoBrah sent me some DE CMH bulbs that will run in a HPS ballast, his bulbs are powerful. FWIW those bulbs worked for me in Sun System and Nanolux HPS ballasts but wouldn't work in my Phantom ballasts.

I think I have even seen a manufacturer that makes a 945 CMH setup.

What do you use for nutrients? Looks like you veg for a while.

Brand doesn't really matter just 1 that has a npk of like 10/10/3 or 12/10/3 you know high N and P. I don't use guano .

I didn't know u could get a 1000w CMH Ballast.
