Their genetics definitely seem a little wonky from reading other threads as well as my experience. Went with fastbuds green crack for the next
I had ordered off of true north seed bank prior to starting the CKS however shipping was such a joke i had time to go down and get them and the others are still on there way 25 days later. I ordered royal queen seeds auto mixed pack and some zkittles Og and got a few auto cheese for free. I can't wait to try the zkittles.

Here are the ladies at day 11.
The first 4 are white widdows and the last three are the early Miss. The last one is the troubled one who is doing ok but weird.

Looks good

I for sure gave them too much water last feeding as I gave the whole bucket about 1.5 liters but all from the edges of pot so I dont think it did too much harm and let them dry out fully before next feeding.

Is there a good or approximate amount to feed during early weeks with autos in soil... 500mls every two days...250mls...or should i get a soil moisture reader? as i think it is too early to tell by feel of pot as i am not watering whole thing. I have now been watering once every two days with about 300mls about 3-4 inches from plant. Would you still spray lightly closer to plant and rest of top soil or just let the rest be dry.

I have also been running 24hour light as it seemed like less opportunity for error. Are their benefits of 18-6 or 20-4 over 24 hour light for autos.

I did see a tiny bit of green (algie or mold) looked like it was growing in one of my small plastic pots... I could only see a little green on some of the perlite... IDK if it is a issue or just be careful not to over water... That plant is by far the biggest at this point.

So I tried testing the ph again and tap water was at 8.5 still feel like thats high so buying some litmus papers to test to be sure.

I am for sure going to be doing some LST on all of them however i was kinda thinking it could be cool to experiment with lollipoping the small one gallon pots and seeing if I can just get one main cola off of them because there will not be much room once I LST the 4x5 gallon pots. Would you guys experiment like that or just trash the three small 1 gallon pots(trash I mean throw on balcony and just hope for best lmao)

They are all looking great so far but there is one that looks a little mutated could have been the extra water.

Ill post update pictures in a few hours.
I don't think you can give them too much water if they're drying out inbetween. I'd stick my finger in the soil near-ish the plant to see. Just make sure you always wash your hands before handling your plants.

I used to let my plants dry to the point where the bottom leaves would just start to wilt a bit, then I read somewhere on this forum that wet-dry cycles aren't the best and started watering a bit before they were completely dry. I have had a lot less nutrient related problems since then.

discoloured perlite..
I wouldn't worry about it unless it is slimy or smth. Perlite always ends up discoloured.

balcony or lollipoping the plants..
lollipoping the small plants is a good idea. Balcony is too, especially if you get direct sun but you would have to worry about neighbors. Maybe have a light on in the evening.

So I have seen some huge growth since my feeding yesterday morning. However as things progress the little mutant one is doing worse.

I got some ph drops to test for sure and my water is between 7 and 8 for sure so that should not be the issue.

Do you guys often switch there spot around in the tent could he just not like that corner?

I am seeing a lot of light spots on the leafs even the plants looking the best.

These are pics at day 13 the first two are the one having trouble.

Then a few of the best one with light spots don't know why.

Last two are the white widows much smaller but happy as can be

The last picture is flash. I name them at seed and he is living up to the name. Is he at the right stage to start LST.

What did you feed them? Ffof is typically loaded with more than plenty nutes for the first month. As for the mutant. I grew one out and she was ugly but smokeable lol. I'm not sure about moving it around. Others could tell you more there. And watering from what I know should be between 6.5 and 6.8ish but there are many varying opinions on that lol. Lots of people here say to just not mess with it as long as your water is okay. As for the light spots on leaves I dont know anything about that lol. And if it was my plant I wouldn't start lst for another week. All of my early miss plants have started lst around week 3. I like to start bending them over once a day at this point and letting them face back up to the light to jumpstart the process of bushing the plant out by getting a little more light to those inside nodes and making her work back up toward the light instead of growing upward and it has worked well so far. But that's just me lol. I'm still fairly new to this.

I have only given them water so far. I don't plan on feeding until at least week two of flower from what people say. I am considering taking the mutant out of the 5 gallon into a 1 and one of the 1g to the 5. I am just not sure if the stress will be worth it. I have a feeling whoever is in the 5g will produce much more so may be worth it???

Awseome I'll wait one more week for my LST they are still small only the one guy was getting to a point where It could be done but y risk it.

I decided to play them some classical music last night and this morning they were happy I could tell lol. May need to look at adding this into my routine lmao.

Changed the layout a but and they seem very happy. I also lowered the lights to about 22".

The early Miss are def a little wonky genetics. The first two pics are those ladies one has super fat leafed and the other is the mutant with the weird leafs cruriling.

Should I replace with smaller pot happier plant.

Nice, looks like the pots are working out for you. And the plants look like they're at that point where they're about to start growing real fast.

About the white spots, wouldn't worry about it. My plants always have some markings, especially when they're young. My thoughts are that things like this and even your curled leaves are due to stress of some kind, but once the plant is larger it either adapts or maybe the root zone is large enough to control it's local environment or something, and the problems go away.

Here's a pic of a plant with weird leaves that it grew out of. I think it's transpiration issues, but after about a month of weird leaves it just fixed itself and is doing great.

It's possible your smaller plants in the big pots are just concentrating on root growth. I had one plant this grow where I messed up the transplant badly and it was way behind for a few weeks but somehow caught back up.

Personally I wouldn't transplant them, it's more things that can go wrong, and they are going to grow however they grow anyways. I'm assuming that you, like me, just want to grow some personal smoke and aren't that concerned with absolutely maxing out your yeild (yet).

Yeah I was kinda hoping it was just the plants getting used to the FFOF. The new leafs coming in on both seem to be a little better already.

At this point when they start growing real fast do you up the water? how significantly? I got myself a soil moisture reader and a soil ph meter in one so i was using this to gage my watering once it gets to about .5 on its moisture scale 1-5

I am loving the size of the 5g i think i could even get one more lady in a 5g in there for my next round... the next round of came seeds just came in and I cant wait!

I started a LST on the biggest lady as she had 4 amazing sites starting.

So we are at day 19 all but one of the ladies are being tranined. The early Miss are supposed to be about 10 days faster so it makes sense they are a bit bigger.

Everyone seems happy as can be so far. The 1 g pots have kept up in size so far.

Nice, are you watering to saturation yet? I usually just water till runoff then wait till the pots are dry to the first knucle or when I stick my finger in a drain hole, but everyone has a different method that works.

Even for the first transplant into large pots I water to saturation so that the roots will spread out more and also to make sure that there are no air pockets (hydrophobic spaces where salts can build up). This grow it took them 10 days to dry out the first time.

I think your plants look big enough that you can water until the soil is fully saturated and they will dry it out quickly enough, but would be interested in other peoples opinions on that.

Also, don't count your chickens before they've hatched regards to space.. pic is 3 plants in a 2x4 at 8 weeks. sorry about the lighting. I grew two autos in this tent once and they filled the space well.

so quick question... as i agree i will run out of space with all these ladies in there i was wondering how to lollipop and when to start.

I am going to be trying a few things with this grow... as I have the three 1g pots i want to try a few techniques. One i am going to grow out as the 5g with full lst and no changes just to see difference in pot size growth. One i want to lollipop hard for one main cola only if thats even doable. and the third i want some ideas on what i could try?

They just got a nice full watering so i would think i may see some good growth over the next few days

Sooooo the ladies are showing some stress. I still think it's due to ph so next feeding will tell more but I am getting some bright green leaves instead of dark green. Almost looks like little light spots.

The four white widows have already shown sex and are beautiful ladies. Two have them have responded amazing to the lst but they are all very short still but have bushed out really well. I hope they go up soon.

My lights say they should be at 18-22" veg and they are at about 24" should I be moving them closer to grow up more?

First two pics is the lst star.

Next 3 are my light leaves

Last two are my lady bits

So we are at day 25 and I think I am seeing some need to feed.

The leafs are yellowing around the edge of a few fan leafs.

I have switched from classical music to hip hop and the ladies seem to be much happier.

The 1 g pots are still doing amazing the are now a little smaller than the 5 g plants however they are much more uniform and have been amazing to train.

The 5 g pots all have produced these huge fan leafs on the bottom and I am wondering how much energy they are eating vs feeding.

But besides the little yellowing the ladies are dancing.

So I am at day 29 and The White widows are showing so many pistols and the ones in the 1g pots have stoped growing up and seem to be starting to flower.

I am curious if these ladies are in full flower and I should lower the lights and turn on bloom or if They are still veging with lots of pistols.

The early miss are just starting to show sex and seem to be a week or more behind. Both are quoted to flower for 7-8 weeks.

I added the new 1000w light and the ladies are loving life. I lifted all the lights to the top of the tent as I have them all in there ATM.
