I Removed the plant from the tent and she's now in isolation

I started a new thread in the general forum to see if anyone has encountered this before.

Last ditch effort before I chop it and throw it in the trash lol

You could try using a water ozone generator to make O3 water and spray the plants in flower. Safe for your plants and safe for you. Ozone will kill spores at high enough concentrations. Never tried it on rust fungus though.

Gelat.og stunt/issue plant is gone. She was isolated for 12 hours while I tried to confirm 100% it was rust fungus, she's chopped down and in the garbage now

Avoid cool dark temps and high humidity so you can hopefully prevent any other plants from getting a case of the rust fungus. The spores are there so it's up to the environment and plant resistance to keep the fungus from growing.

Man im not sure what caused it to be honest.

Temps havent dropped below 70f in this tent since they went in there, usually 71f at night and 82f daytime

Rh is usually around 40-45% at all times.


Do you think these temps and rh are outside the norm or will allow the spores to spread? im here scratching my head wondering how to keep the tent warmer and dryer than 71f 45% rh

The spores are present, so we want the conditions to be unfavorable for growth. Perhaps try to keep the dark temps in the higher 70's.

Know that when temps drop, RH% goes up given the same amount of water in the air. Pretty sure you already knew that.

Hopefully it's just a strain that had no mold tolerance and the ones you have are more resistant.

For plants that arent infected but have been exposed you could try Serifel on them, it's a biological fungicide, totally safe. It's only a preventative, it won't stop an existing infection. Not sure about where to get it at except from BASF.

I will have a look for serifel

This was one of the freebie strains seedsman sent with my order, the other 2 sister plants seem normal so far, will obviously keep a very close eye on them.

The critical purple kush are what im most concerned with, both those plants seem to be producing some killer looking bud, very frosty, dense and stinky, id hate to lose those girls at this stage. Id kill all the gelat.ogs if i thought it would save the CPKs lol....yes ive thought of it lol

Nah bud, you never missed much, well a few interesting things happened, but all in all it was pretty uneventful lol

This journal was/is kinda boring to be honest, i got caught up in the building of the new room and lights, i kinda just let this run go on cruise control and the updates showed.

I will do better for the Blueberries and Chocolate, i promise lol

Should have showed us the room build at the same time... Too late now i suppose... Oh well,hindsight is 20/20,right???
