here my answer ......yes...lol..... I like Irie , saves me going into detail... kraken can be used till flush..
for sure, bubba cuts right to the chase!! take it or leave it.......I recommend you take it, LOL. I will elaborate so new growers can see why we do things the way we do with Nectar and hopefully we all learn and pass it on to the next.

A few of the plants were too little to transplant so i left them and just fed them the higher ph and herc when i fed the transplants. They never bounced back like the transplants did. I decided to transplant them even tho there small. I checked the slurries on them and the ph is 6.3 and 350 ppm. Are they hungry? My transplants are dried out and ready for a feed should i just give them all dr. Root? Or maybe some full power too? Gaia?

go with the DR ROOT 6.3 on those younger transplants.
good slurry #s, keep at what your doing with whatever those #s came from

Hi guys! Wow what a wealth of information in this thread!! I am a first time grower using wicked pissah autoflower genetics. I have the sample kit from NFTG. As I said I've never grown anything ever and I just turned 38! My girls are from 4-25, 4-26, 5-2, and 5-6. I did a flush with HH and I did a foliar feed from the nectar bible. I'd have to get details again, it's the first one in the list is all I can tell ya off the top of my head. The girls loved that! Monday night I did a full sample kit feeding of 5ml of everything minus BK. PH 6.4 with tap water that has been sitting out for 48hrs no Oly was needed. I then gave them a BK misting Monday night with same tap water that was out for 48+ hours and ph was 6.3 with just water and BK. I used 5ml to 1qt. I then misted all of them Tuesday morning and evening and again this morning. I think I've over used BK. I believe this cherry fog that is 4 weeks old has "taco-ing" this evening and slightly yellow from inside out. Havent sprayed since this morning. I believe I over used BK. There is also some yellowing on the tips that was there previously. I believe it was/is environment related. Here's a few pics of her. Any help will be greatly appreciated! I'm like a sponge at this point, I'm ready to absorb info!

39x39x72 Mars hydro tent
4 chilled v2 pucks in parallel on a Meanwell. hlg-320-48b at about 65-75% power & just moved up to 30" about this girl (she's the tallest)
I have an ac Infiniti t4 fan and I just raised my tent temperature to 80F w/65-70% RH 20/4 light schedule
Using dr earth Homegrown organic potting soil with a little mix of Black Gold in 5gal fabric pots. Here she is: thank you in advance for any help!

I have a ph and ppm meter for the nutrients. I'm not a fan of the slurry test, and have been looking at hanna instruments. They have a nice direct soil ph meter for like $119. Does anyone have an opinion on them? Cant post link since I'm too new! Lol it's from the groline tester series.

They also have a direct soil EC meter for about that same price I've been considering pulling the trigger on.

Any opinions on them? Other brands? What are you all using to test? Peace out brothers!

1st thing !!! STOP THE FOLIARING BK !!! lol.....that using foliar with BK your lucky its not worse...... you need to do slurries theres no way around it , personally I use blue lab pens ... but if you can please give us a slurry , if any problems come about that will be the 1st question we ask ...... the ratio of herc to bk 6:1 , im glade you had enough in the soil to support it ... question , what soil are you using ? usually want to foliar feed BK 2 xweek if the soil supports it ... again this will depend on your slurries .....so do a couple feedings...... if slurries get to low her leafs will start to twist and she will consume herself.....BK is a powerful tool !!!!

I'm with bubba on that auto, back off the BK and get some feeds in there. Its really tough without slurry to really nail it down. Those soil probe meters are really nice but better for large beds or bigger pots, that and you would still need to slurry to make sure the probes test similar #s to the slurry in order to gauge best course to feed/flush/reset.

Lol thank you brother! To clear it up, I didnt do the foliar feeding of basically the spartan regimen and the BK. I had did a flush with HH and used that foliar feed. After soil dried out from the HH flush, I did the sample kit at 5ml of everything to 1gal tap water and then did the first BK foliar feeding about 6 hours later on Monday. Hopefully that is clearer....my bad!

I'm using dr earth Homegrown organic potting soil with a little black gold all purpose mixed in like 25% or so.

I can do a slurry test tomorrow. I read in the bible that the top 2" of soil should be dry to do the slurry test....can you point me in the right direction on that? I want to be sure I am seeing accurate results.

Thank you @bubba73 !

Thank you @IrieRoots ! I will get a slurry. Can I remove 1oz of medium that is still most and let it dry out some to do this test? I seen the nectar bible stress it must be dry. Appreciate it brother!

Doesn't need to be bone dry, if your pot is ready to water again than your good to go to test. There is a short video on YouTube that shows exactly how to.....its from Oregons Constant Gardener
