Does anyone ever scrog outside?

I’ve got a Maui Waui outside that has been topped and lst in a 200 gallon bed that I’m gonna scrog.

Never scrogged outdoors so what’s the best time to put the first netting up? I’m just north of the 49th in the Kootenays.

The first net of probably 3 will be going on Fri

For height limitations, I have dug my holes wide, then laid the plant in sideways. From there? Oh so many things you can do! As all those would be side branches grow up, you can pull and tie them over. As the tip grows, just keep tying horizontal. When I had 6 foot high fence in South Sacramento, this worked very well.

Some parts of canada have height restrictions on the size of plants. Or for security to keep out of range of prying eyes...

Really? Where? I thought all height restrictions were removed when legalization was before the senate. I know you have to keep the plants out of public sight in BC, and that they have to be behind a barrier of some sort in Nova Scotia like a locked gate. But from what I remember there aren't any height restrictions.
