Made some canna oil =)

Hey guys, so I made up some canna oil last night, 53g or so dried untrimmed nugs, unfortunately I forgot to weigh again after decarb so it coulda gone down but, it stewed for 12 hours at 101C consistently thanks to the water, took it out cooled it, separated the water (bottom was so clean, very happy) then melted and poured into jar, lost VERY little, less than the last batch I made WITHOUT water, and much nicer smell =) now I'm eating a four cheese pasta and sauce with 30ml added, see how we go bongsmilie man it tastes so much better than the last lot =)

I'm assuming there's folk on here that know a lot more bout edibles than I do, going on the recipe above I followed, can someone give me an idea of how much to use in a batch of brownies? If 30g in a bowl of pasta wrecks, do I use 12 X 30g for 12 brownies? Man that'd taste weird

You use exactly how much the recipe calls for. With baking its important to folow the recipe. So if it calls for a half a cup use a half a cup.

Yeah I get that, but I don't want it to be weak as piss =( I have to put 30g in a bowl to feel it
You have to adjust the potancy of the oil if you want ti stronger, you can't just add more oil to the brownies, they won't cook right. So I suppose take the total amount from the batch of brownies, and devide it by the number of brownies you are making, and see if that amount of oil gets you where you want. If not, then make the oil stronger.

1st you need to know the thc % of your starting material. This is a prime reason I only use extracts vs plant material.

With out knowing your starting %, your just guessing at best.

Not all trim, flower, extracts are equal.

Who gives a crap my dude, doesn't take a lot to work out you need less of bud or more of trim. I follow the same recipes every time depending what I'm using and it always turns out potent as hell. Also, you opened saying you always use extracts but then end saying extracts are just as unequal as you think bud and trim is, soooooo

Can't be that potent if you need 30g of it. When I make my cocobudder out of good sugar trim a 5g tsp of the 10:1 mix sends me to bed.

Nice attitude you got there so maybe it's not as potent as you think or you'd be a little more mellow.

Yeah cause I'M the one who came along with attitude :shock: dude came in talking to me like I'm a fucken idiot but you think I HAVE attitude? Riiiiiiigggghhhhttt. You've probably never made canna oil in your life.
