i have an easter/christmass cacti i am growing. good thing with these cactus are they require a 12/12 dark period too produce flowers.

they also like a fairly humid climate and weed also likes a litle humidity also.
i have 3x cuttings o the window sill and once roots formed they shall be going into my veg/flower cab.

to what i have learnt easter cacti grow in damp forrests, others grow in deserts where water is at a low.

my easter cacti are feeding every 2 weeks and my weed ever 3 days

i am trying this too... i have some smale agaves (not sure which kind) and one other unknown cactus cuttings that i have put inside under the lights cause its gonna be gettin chilly soon and they are lil guys.... they seem to be doing okay, but i stick em outside in the daytime when i am home;

but to answer your question, cacti can easily be grown indoors; and no, they wont mess with your weed plants

cute lil guys.... i like the one at the top, is it a crassula??? looks neat regardless... all i can say about keeping them under 24hr light is if they start to look kinda sick for no obvious reason, then take em out for awhile... if not, then enjoy your cacti-weed garden

hi your cactus top right is the same as mine.

be warned they grow into monstars

the one below needs a transplant it is root bound and showing heavy yellowing scars now. i always try too re-pot into a container atleast twice the diamiter of the cactus, i was feeding them a MG pour and feed liquid. they now started too be given babybio 10:4:1.7, they get in 1lt ( 2 pints) 4 drops.

cactus are cool, a few of these on your window sill and nobody will try getting into house.

my mother used too grow them, she had a good 20 mini cactus. growing up with them i find them ugly but when they flower thats when you feel like you have done something. some cactus like pics shown have huge flowers.

the cactus i posted is my mother cactus, she produces lots of babys. i pick them off and plant them up. i have four other cactus of same type in different stages of life. and i also grow christmas/easter cactus too, these flower every year and produce hundreds of little flowers, i also want too start taking cuttings of these and regrow.

they dont require much care

Yes your correct it is a crassula, my gf chose that one, i like it but it doesnt have spikes so it doesnt appeal to me as much. My fav is the bottom one on the picture Euphorbia mammillaris which warns me its harmful when eaten, maybe this one could get you high? smartsoverambition should try it to see if it is psychoactive haha!
Ive had problems with this cacti ever since i put it in that pot its been very loose in the soil and its going abit brown near the bottom, hoping it will sort itself out eventually the other 3 have been fine.

personaly i would repot each catcus. this way they dont have too fight for root space and can realy take on best growth.

as for brown based one repot carefuly and dont water so much, if you can repot without water see how it goes. maybe a thin toothpick or two will help keep it stable untill it finds its legs again.

hey fellow rollers be careful of euphorbias they have a white latex inside them and what ever you do do not get this near your eyes or any cuts or open wounds it can make you blind and then you will need another succulent as an antedote which i cannot remember the name of but if it gets in an open wound or cut you will never get it out of your body.:peace:

24/0 really wouldn't be a good idea to my mind. Cacti (along with many succulents) use CAM photosynthesis instead of C3 or C4. I won't go into too much detail but by the CAM photosynthesis route; stomata open at night (when evaporation rates are usually lower) and are usually closed during the day.

The CO2 is converted to an acid and stored during the night. During the day, the acid is broken down and the CO2 is released to RUBISCO for photosynthesis. Basically, if you keep it in the light all day, every day, it'll never get in more CO2 and won't grow. I hope this is useful.

Love and Light,

I liked the idea of having a small cactus garden in one pot but i think i need a bigger pot if im to grow them together. I agree the best results would be in single pots which i think i will probably end up doing. Definately going to put the ill one in a pot of its own and thanks for the toothpick idea im sure that will help

I've some Trichocereus Macrogonus that I started from seed that will most likely find a spot in an upcoming indoor garden. I also have several Trichocereus Pachanoi (San Pedro) that are most likely too large to get any floor space under the lights. Both of these are rich in mescaline and legal to grow for ornamental purposes here in the U.S. Three of my Pedros I purchased at my local Lowes. I've also got about a hundred lophophora williamsii seedlings but the indoor lights will be too bright for them so they'll stay on the window sill. I highly recommend growing the trichocereus cactii. Mescaline is a very useful drug at a variety of dosage levels. Lower doses enhance alertness and sociability while also acting as an appetite suppressant and antidepressant. At higher doses it is a wonderful and kind psychedelic experience although very long lasting.

BTW, those little cylinder microdots of years past although sold as mescaline were actually LSD.

I am a cacti / cannabi grower myself. I have a good size cacti garden growing outside not in best sunlight though. Succulents and cacti. My prize and joy is my mother Lophophora williamsii and san pedro with a button I grafted that is growing way expedentially compared to mother. I want to transplant mother into better medium and take more grafts onto my san pedros. Any advice? Substrate? Ph? Nutrients?
I have three 1k w mh/has running along with two 250w QBs and four 315w cmh.

I've got cannabis growing down but want to expand my cacti skills/knowledge. Is it smart to put my Lophophora williamsii, in indoor even tho I'm 9ver plant limit and flower smells wouldn't want that to b found bc its a class 1 , sad to say the least. Sorry I can't find pic of Lophophora williamsii flowering but its a beautiful pink flower.20210415_172222.jpgIMG_20190927_202712_328.jpg
