it’s just in styrofoam cups as of right now so no run off waterJust make sure the pots are not sitting in runoff water, and can drain completely. Put them up on blocks of wood to raise them a bit.

If there are no holes in the cups you will have problems. You need holes to provide run off.it’s just in styrofoam cups as of right now so no run off water

Like @Hook Daddy said, you absolutely must have drain holes!! It’ll kill the roots if they it can’t get O2 because they’re waterlogged. Don’t overwater, seedling don’t need to be wet, just damp.it’s just in styrofoam cups as of right now so no run off water
and do you have any tips on watering it says keep the top moist but water every 3-7 days i’m a little confusedIf there are no holes in the cups you will have problems. You need holes to provide run off.
The best way to do it is: after you water, pick up the pot, note the weight, when the pot gets much much lighter, it’s time to water again. Dont water on a set schedule, water when needed, sometimes its every 2-4 days, sometimes it once a week. Seedlings don’t use much water.and do you have any tips on watering it says keep the top moist but water every 3-7 days i’m a little confused
Like @Phytoplankton said the best method is to feel the pot before watering. When you water add just a bit around the plant in a circle, not much, wait a minute or two, then a bit more. Keep doing this until you get just a bit of runoff. If you get runoff right away that doesn’t count, it’s just running out the bottom, very dry soil will resist water at first, it needs to soak a bit. Once you get some runoff lift the pot again and notice the weight, it should feel quite a bit heavier. Once the pot gets light and the top soil is dry you can water again. The soil on top will get a lighter color when dry, but depending on the type of soil it may not be the best indicator, weight works best.and do you have any tips on watering it says keep the top moist but water every 3-7 days i’m a little confused

do you think natural sunlight would be better than a pink light right now for it ? i have a pink light full power about 3 or more feet above itLeave it alone. There is no hull on that plant. It looks healthy. Now that it's sprouted it needs light.
yeswill my plant live and thrive in this untill the vegetation stage ? or atleast untill it starts growing a leaf or 2
