Yeah it's definitely a good thing. I think overall (no offense) our countries aren't really that different in terms of social leanings and whatnot. It makes it interesting to see how the differences actually take effect. It wouldn't be like control groups for study but it gives an idea of how something like arming the police affects the numbers regarding officer involved deaths. I'm sure someone has looked at it and someone else said "YEAH BUT CHICAGO!"
