Ultimate Hash Plant- Greenthumb Seeds

Description-
Classic Indica that is the epitome of squat, hash plant, breeding.

A SOG growers delight- ( 9 plants per 4x4 can generally produce 2 lbs )
Flowered at 9-12 inches the mature plant will reach around 24 inches.

Afghani parentage.

Indoor Flower Time- 55 days.
Outdoor Flower Time- Mid September



I just started 4 seeds with the intention of keeping at least 2 and possibly 3 of them.
All 4 germinated (as usual) and have broke soil.

I've been thinking about a nice, short, manageable, plant to run but I really wanted it to produce well and this one could be just the ticket.
Sandalwood sounds really good as I tend to like a bit of spice in my smoke.

I've had a lot of health issues to deal with lately, both my own and my wife's and family.
But, I've been feeling much better and with any luck, that will continue.

This strain sounds really good and has me excited again so I expect to have a nice, complete, journal, this time.

So, I narrowed it down to two plants. The first to be eliminated was an easy pick because though it looked healthy, it was just a slower grower than the others. I still have it just in case i change my mind.
The other got eliminated because I accidentally killed it. It may even have been the best one....damn.
While it was just days old, I watered it and like all of them, it drooped over a bit because the soil around it was disturbed and it probably didn't have that strong of an anchor yet. I tried to prop it up by putting some soil around it and I accidentally bent the stem a little bit. It was too early to do but it was pretty much no bigger a bend than i would do with LST so I wasn't worried. But, the next time I watered, it did it again, and when i tried to prop it up, I felt a snap and that was it. The next day it was dried up and dead.

So, here are the two winners. Transplanted into the final pot (5 gallon) on the 10th (first pic) and both of them today.(2nd pic)

After the transplant I gave them a few days to recover and then topped them.
After they recovered from the topping, I gave them a few more days to re-gain some height before the flip.
Yesterday was day 1 of 12/12.
Here they are.....

Day 14 of 12/12-
Both plants are looking very healthy and tight. I started the bigger one at 16 inches tall and its about 26 now, the smaller one is 23. I have my lights(vertical) packed tightly around both plants and moved my other plats to the perimeter.
Sorry about the photo quality. Definitely not my best work.

I've also been working on my new RDWC room. After some early troubles, my plants look to be back on track. I hope to keep it that way but i know I have a lot to learn.

Interesting how Dr. GT has the yield on the Ultimate Hash Plant anywhere between 450-900 gms per sq meter.....that's quite a range.

yeah...wonder if its a mis-print.

...on the other hand, i can really see this being good for SOG growing as it tends to be top heavy. Perhaps once you grow out the pack and pick the winner yield wise, you could reach those higher numbers.
I haven't been focusing on big tops but these are getting pretty beefy nonetheless.
