The trial court concluded that the testimony of the victim and her mother was not credible, leaving insufficient evidence to support the jury’s verdict. The court explained that it had harbored doubts about the veracity of Marian’s testimony during trial because it “appeared to be contrived.”

The court then concluded that evidence in the medical records rendered Marian’s testimony an insufficient basis for conviction as a matter of law. Several items in the medical records grounded this conclusion: (1) Wanda apparently described Marian to a mental health professional as “a pathological liar [who] lives her lies”; (2) Marian’s accusations followed a large fight with her mother after Wanda caused Marian’s then boyfriend to be sent to prison; and (3) Marian made only fleeting references to having been sexually abused during the course of her psychological treatment.

The State appealed to the California Court of Appeal, which reinstated the conviction. It held that the trial court improperly relied on the medical records, which were never before the jury, in granting the new trial. The Court of Appeal also directed that the matter be reassigned. A new judge sentenced Gage to 70 years’ imprisonment..."

Its not on me to prove she's not a good candidate. With the evidence presented, the responsibility falls on her. Falls on her to prove to me that she's changed or believes these injustices are wrong.

How can you defend burying evidence or advocating for false testimony to remain in order to get a conviction? It really didn't matter if the people were guilty, it's the fact that she thinks its ok to abuse her position of power, to stack the deck, all to pad her stats at the demise of innocent people.

She's betraying the trust that the American people are supposed to have in the legal system. She's not making mistakes she's making determined and meditated efforts to carry out these injustices.

The only thing that gets her to change her stance is public opinion. Just blows with the wind. She wants to dig her heels in because winning is more important to her than the truth. This is disgusting.

He's a rapist. His defense relied solely on the credibility of the accuser. A jury was not convinced. She had psychological issues because he fucking raped her as a child.

A jury of 12 unanimously convicted him. Let him die in a dungeon. That prosecutor is amazing. I'm not surprised that a trumptard is defending a rapist so vigorously.

So did his prosecution. You're just making assumptions to bolster your infatuation. You're not being objective. Judge overturned conviction. He had oppurtunity to plea with time served but chose to clear his name. Hung first jury. Evidence buried to facilitate a skewed representation of reality, exactly what you're trying to do.

The reason I expounded was due to your insesant dismal of the facts because of "copy paste." Just because I didn't write the reports or stories didn't mean they didn't happen. She's a phony. Doesn't give a shit about justice, only how she looks to the public..

No. I unpacked the facts and presented them plainly. I didn't insesant dismal anything. You may have a problem with independent courts trying accused rapists and convicting them based on testimony but that doesn't mean that I insesant dismal them just because I support Kamala Harris.

Yup very correct Saddam refused to use the dollar and look what happened to him. Also Gaddafi was also murdered who also stayed on the gold standard. I think also Iran is backed up by gold and US wants war with them too. Every country that wants to keep on the gold standard is targeted by the USA/international banking families.
