In the last election he had a 30% chance of winning -- some have him already with a higher chance. Historical precedent shows that incumbent presidents always have a better chance than when they were first elected.

So, while I don't think lightning will strike twice and Trump gets his second term, I also don't think it's out of the realm of possibility.

The hopeless must take part in voting. For many it’s hard to think about and especially if you are young. This debt your parents used to worry about? Obviously they didn’t worry enough as now it looks so hopeless that like who gives a flying fuck? I understand those feelings but if you can’t overcome them enough to participate at least at the minimum you’re inviting even more abuse and not limited to the federal debt.
