y'know now that i think about it, the ballasts actually do say 120/240v. So maybe ill do that. Its only a 15 amp curcuit though, but maybe i could add the fourth light at 600w if i ran at 220. you gave me a good idea, ill do some calculations and see what i can come up with. I run my 4 1000w HPS on a 220v 30 amp 4 light controller with a 110v trigger cord plughed into my timer.
The lights draw 1/2 the amperage at 220v.
What amperage is your220v plug?
If you're running 4 1000w at 110v that's approx a 40 amp draw. About 25 amp at 220v.
