Looks like you have a lot of white pistils yet...and a ways to go. Are you checking the trichs from the calyx and not the leaves?
Yeah the trikes were on the Sugar leaves I think. Still a pretty fair amount of Cloudy trichomes though I think. I never had anything flower this early before and to tell you the truth I'm dying to try it anyway so I am. Ty for your input, I'm here to learn so... I agree it's on the early side.

I wont take them View attachment 4390957 until the pistils have browned and receded and the buds have done their swelling.... basically when they look like this.
Ty for the photo ganga. Tells me what I'm looking for. I didn't utilize this resource last year but then again it was late October, rainy and therefore I did an emergency Harvest. Good smoke just the same though. Thanks again for your help.

No problem. I mean it's your grow and you can do as you wish, but yes she is early. And you want to check trichomes from the calyx not the leaves. The leaves are much more mature then the buds themself. I would say you had a minimum of 2 to 3 weeks left. In the last 2 weeks a bud will swell and make up 25% of your final weight.
I know it's hard not to chop early but it is always better to wait.

Yes I should have limited it to one cola maybe. But actually what you're telling me is encouraging because I'm hoping for a better Harvest. This strain is supposed to be OG Kush, ganga, do you have any opinion on that?

My opinion on them is they are a great strain to grow and a great smoke. They do get pretty dense during the swell so you really have to be diligent and proactive when it comes to rot.
Most kush that I have grown are at least an 8 week strain ... so you are always looking at the last week of Sept if not the first week of oct. Sometimes ivr had a longer running pheno I've had to take mid oct. Just depends on the pheno.

Cool. What I'm growing is supposed to be OG Kush from Colorado eBay seller. :hump:The reason I'm having some doubts, but dang I'm excited at those trichomes and the early flowering! TYVM.
Next time make sure you go through a reputable breeder. I wouldn't call that an early flowering plant. The early ones are done mid sept or just before. Yours looks like a 8 to 9 week strain. Earlier then most but still looking at a late sept harvest which alot of strains are. If you always figure that...you just havr to keep the scissors put away until we are almost at oct. Good luck ;)

I haven't smoked this pheno yet but the way it looks and as early as it flowers this is a pheno I would like to work with.

Ty for the luck. What I will say is it's way ahead of my GG4 and Super Skunk and the other odds and ends in my garden. I think you said in another post that you're in Wisconsin which means are climates are similar. Is there another strain you'd recommend 4 our climate? I like an early flowering strain

and and also I will say that I have two plants of OG Kush from a reputable breeder and they're running way behind this pheno.
