Not that it matters anymore, but yeah, I call bullshit on you having any real idea of what Hillary Clinton's achievements or plans were.

https://www.nytimes.com/2016/09/21/opinion/hillary-clinton-my-plan-for-helping-americas-poor.html
Nearly 40 percent of Americans between the ages of 25 and 60 will experience a year in poverty at some point. The best way to help families lift themselves out of poverty is to make it easier to find good-paying jobs. As president, one of my top priorities will be increasing economic growth that’s strong, fair and lasting. I will work with Democrats and Republicans to make a historic investment in good-paying jobs — jobs in infrastructure and manufacturing, technology and innovation, small businesses and clean energy. And we need to make sure that hard work is rewarded by raising the minimum wage and finally guaranteeing equal pay for women.

If we want to get serious about poverty, we also need a national commitment to create more affordable housing. This issue doesn’t get much election-year coverage, but it’s a big deal to the 11.4 million American households that spend more than half their incomes on rent. Too many people are putting off saving for their children or retirement just to keep a roof over their families’ heads.

My plan would expand Low Income Housing Tax Credits in high-cost areas to increase our affordable housing supply, and fuel broader community development. So if you are a family living in an expensive city, you would be able to find an affordable place to call home and have access to the transportation you need to get to good jobs and quality schools.

Got any evidence of this? He's only been consistently in message for 40 years now. How long is long enough for you?

Why hasn't he really gone on full force?where is the actual action behind the ideas that he is speaking about. None of his supporters actually question why Bernie just folds and accepts the results instead of going the extra mile and running on his own platform against the system he claims to dislike.

Would Clinton have stopped the bombing campaign? No. She was on record as advocating to ramp it up.

Would she have legalized weed? Lol no

Would she have addressed our military police state? No, she was going to 'bring them to heel'.

Help the homeless? No
Medicare for all? No
Help with college debt? No

I'm not making the mistake of 'lesser of two evils' again. This country has been making that mistake for 40 years; it's how we got into this mess.

Funny how no one can honestly argue otherwise- so instead of trying, they just make personal attacks.

It's time to listen to the majority of Americans- something the DNC resolutely refuses to do. After all, they get paid win or lose, so there's no skin in the game for them. Their constituency is the donor class and they will greedily suck that Koch money as long as they can.

All this fighting between Left and Right misses the real conflict; the Class War was won by the rich when Ronald Reagan was elected and the Left has been fighting a shit poor rearguard retreat action ever since.

Bernie is the vanguard of a new direction for our country, the only one that will restore our rights, our dignity, our relevance and our future.
Bernie hasn't done shit in more than 12 years as Senator. All of a sudden, Bernie will win in spite of the fact that he lost and then Bernie will arrive in the WH and end war, poverty, hunger and sickness.

This calls for a laugh button

Single minded determination over a 40 year long career isn't good enough for you?

Show us anyone who DOES meet those lofty standards of yours?

Straight up lie, and repeating it doesn't make it true.

What has been accomplished in those 40 yrs of his which really change the lives of the everyday person? The man has some good ideas/nice speeches..There is just a huge lack of action on his part to get things done.

Perhaps your right re Clinton and I didn’t like her either lol, but she didn’t win. Trump did. And by your own logic Trump is better for America than anyone but Bernie so if Bernie doesn’t win the nomination your giving Trump your vote. As you say it’s your right.

I invite you to look at his record yourself, rather than taking anyone else's word for it.

Yes, by all means take a look at Sanders record from a nonpartisan, neutral source:
https://www.govtrack.us/congress/members/report-cards/2018/senate-tenyears/transparency-bills

Some of the low lights of Bernie Sanders record:

Got their bills out of committee the least often compared to All Senators
Most bills and resolutions languish in committee without any action. Sanders introduced 1 bill in the 115th Congress that got past committee and to the floor for consideration.

Got bipartisan cosponsors on the fewest bills compared to Serving 10+ Years (tied with 1 other)
In this era of partisanship, it is important to see Members of Congress working across the aisle. 1 of Sanders’s 31 bills and resolutions had a cosponsor from a different political party than the party Sanders caucused with in the 115th Congress.

Introduced the 10th fewest bills compared to Serving 10+ Years (tied with 3 others)
Sanders introduced 31 bills and resolutions in the 115th Congress. View Bills »

Laws Enacted
Sanders introduced 0 bills that became law, including via incorporation into other measures, in the 115th Congress. Keep in mind that it takes a law to repeal a law. Very few bills ever become law.

The only high score is he's the second most liberal Senator, second only to Kirsten Gilibrand. They don't factor in Sanders avid support for brutal dictators in their ranking scheme or Bernie would rank near the bottom.

Bernie doesn't have the courage or backbone to actually go out on the frontlines and put in the hard work for ideas like medical/education/immigration/equality/climate change. He's going to roll over and play dead once again after the 2020 election cycle ends. Sanders will continue to give nice speeches along with half ass efforts which lead nowhere/lack action. It's going to be the younger politicians that are actually going to get the work done to move some of his ideas forward.

Hey everyone look at the libertarian barter and trade retard try to school liberals on math, priceless.
The folks here at RIU should get behind Rob Roy and run him as a candidate for POTUS under the GOP banner! Rob, his radical ideas and racism would entrance the GOP base, if he wore the monkey suit he would enthrall them, and give Donald a run for his money. We could split the republican base with Rob and even run him as an independent right wing spoiler, if he lost the republican presidential primary to Donald. RUN ROB ROY FOR THE GOP NOMINEE... Glovelove could manage his campaign

Rob is an independant pioneer in solar energy, and his barter economy will solve America's obesity problem within a year and increase fitness levels dramatically as the population forages in the forests for food. Lawn mowers would no longer be required, because those who still had lawns would be down on all fours eating them like sheep to survive.

RUN ROB ROY is our slogan! Fight stupid with stupider I say! ;-)

You don't give a fuck about Bernie. Bernie just had a heart attack and needs to pull out of the race for health reason. If you cared about Bernie you would suggest to him to do so. Too old and frail to be POTUS. he needs to retire and enjoy his last two years fishing at his lake house
