I grow for me and my better half I run about 380 watts and that nets me plenty of smoke for the two of us and then some to share with friends. I do this so I don't have to deal with some sketchy people in our not so friendly state.

If I had a need to go bigger I would your scale doesn't change anything. I'm about a gram per watt and I'm not even trying.

Glad to see that you stuck with it through to the end. You strengthened my beliefs on efficient white led putting out more for less wattage even if that was not what you intended to show.

A former friend of mine and a very experienced grower flat out refused to flower a seed plant because of this.

Now there may be a better way to explain this than to say it's not fully mature.

It may be better to say that the plant needs time to express some traits in a given environment.


On to the "hate" on smaller growers...
Around here theres a plethora of small scale know-it-alls growing 1 or 2 small plants putting a load of effort into them. That in and of itself is just fine an dandy.
Where the hate comes from is when those sort/scale come and talk shit that someone running several times more watts, several strains, and a much overall larger system has a few leaf issues or misc bullshit that's hardly relevant.

For myself, I only get to look at my room every other day, for about 15 min while I water, and maybe a hour on the weekend. I simply dont care if a few leaf are fucked up (luckily my current grow doesnt have any issues except I didnt trim up under the scrog, no time)
So in this area I'm expecting somewhere around 60 oz. If a 2 oz grower tried telling me something I'd just laugh cuz imma bout to get 30x that.

Its not a dig. Its a fact. They just cannot understand unless they've done it themselves. Not even meaning maturity as a main thing. You guys hear only what you want. " they dont veg long eough to see the differences in their lights to plant response.
Thats why i gave you guys a long veg. To show how what each light did . One blew up to obnoxious size with very far nodal spacing, the other Bonsia'd.
Think you would've seen that difference off a 2 wk veg? Maybe a little but not to the extreme i showed you all here.

How much were the hgls priced at? Will you compare $ per watt aswell? Extremely interested in seeing those driverless things aswell. Litterally dollar store led bulb tech. Should be cool. I ordered like 4 50w driverless chips for like $4 to fk around with a while ago and they were sketchy af but pretty bright, id imagine the efficiency is trash so I threw them out anyway. But i mean 4 dollars for 200 watts. Those margins! Hgl is killing the game lmao.

Flowers don’t care how mature they are. My self seeded Marigolds, Zinnias make just the same flowers as seeds planted early. Wheat and other crops also don’t give a shit how many acres the farm has under plow.

Not everyone here is even interested in pounds and pounds of herb. I flower 12 sq/ft and that is my exact thing. Been using that space for a long time.

My plants also show no LED deficiencies.

The problem arises when you assume that people who are currently running small tent grows have only ever grown that way. My first almost decade of growing was a big ass basement full of 1000s. Then half a decade of growing outdoor. Now I'm old and I only grow for myself so I run a 2x4. I average a bit over 4 zips a plant and it easily supplies what I need. I grow small now because it fits my needs, don't assume that means I can't grow big.

You do realize your talking to someone that does spectrum comparisons all the time. Not just HID to LED, I have well over a grand in different specific bands laying around to play with including HGL's Epie's she used on her models she started advertising before getting schooled by people that actually knew something about modern LED's instead of relying on 10 year old technology.
