Trudeau will win another majority. As much as the guy is an ass, he's better than the alternative. Conservatives
deficits: 2009-2010 = $55B, 2010-2011= $33B, 2011-2012= -$26B. 2012-2013= $19B And we have nothing to show for it. $14B is looking pretty good......
Canadians can't afford another CPC government.

Yeah. A 20 year old pic isn't going to change the vote. People are going to go with jobs, the economy and climate as deciding factors and I think the Liberals will get that vote. Could be wrong, but I don't think so. Besides, he's apologized and Andy Scheer says that's good enough for the racists in his party. LOL!
I voted on Monday, so it won't change my vote.....I voted Green Trudeau lost my vote when he approved the pipeline expansion.

Yeah blackface in 2001 was not acceptable, it wasn't the 60s or 70s. One time mayyyybe a bad choice, but THREE? plus he said there could be more... I don't find his blackface offensive in the context it was used and those he was supposedly offending, who were in the room, have said there was nothing offensive or racist about it. Who were the victims? How many "Indians" in the western movies are actually Natives? Why is their no outrage over white actors wearing 'red face'? Racism in any form disgusts me and I'm not shy about saying so, and I also don't think these pics did Trudeau any favours, but I just don't see depicting another race as being racist or offensive unless they were portraying an act or situation that could be viewed as derogatory to that race. That didn't happen here.
I think it's a lot of hype over nothing and Andy is milking it for every vote he can get...but that's just my opinion. Conservatives can't use racism against Trudeau when Scheer announced that an apology was good enough for his candidates the day before....that would be hypocritical, no?
Today's election polling shows the Liberals near majority still, so I'm guessing most Canadians feel the same as me. My vote didn't go to him, but until the Greens make up some ground, the Liberals are the only choice for government. imho

how many of us guys and gals from the late 1950's early 1960's, went out for halloween either in blackface or in a dress/suit... I would think that number is quite large. It was mostly about coming up with an easy costume.
That was the fantasy part of cultural appropriation from back in the day....my black friends went out white faced...
because it was about fun ...not race
