an interesting read

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/11/us/politics/11mccain.html

In the most detailed examination yet of Senator John McCain’s eligibility to be president, a law professor at the University of Arizona has concluded that neither Mr. McCain’s birth in 1936 in the Panama Canal Zone nor the fact that his parents were American citizens is enough to satisfy the constitutional requirement that the president must be a “natural-born citizen.”
Like i said i think they both should be disqualified so we could get qualified candidates like Ron Paul.

Sticky, I find your being an air-headed, GOP puppet, HILARIOUS.
I guess you will be in line for Comrade Obama's free hand outs when he " redistributes the wealth " by taxing the shit out of hard working Americans like me and guys like Joe the plumber. Which is going to put a lot small businesses out of business and increase unemployment and screw the economy even worse than it aleady is.

Obama thinks that people in the $250,000+ per year tax bracket should be brought back to 39% (where it was before Bush.)

McCain wants it to be 36%.

Where exactly is the line? Is 38.9% A-OK, but 39% communist? bongsmilie

True, its not like everyone is already having a hard time paying taxes in todays economy. More taxes and forcing small business to provide health insurance and fineing them if they don't is not going to help the economy. It will make it worse. Forcing small businesses out of business equals less jobs, more layoffs and higher unemployment. Here is some more info about this lawsuit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xyspCRmJv7w and http://www.obamacrimes.com/attachments/038_Obama,%20Motion%20for%20Order%20deeming%20Request%20for%20Admissions%20Admitted.pdf

McCain wants to tax peoples health insurance. That's right your employer paid benefits will be taxed under him. Now there are plenty of people struggling to survive so let's slap yet another worthless unjust tax on them. I bet you can't wait to see those extra dollars dissappear from your paycheck, forever.

The first time I heard her speak I knew with that smile and the way she emphasized "certain" words, I knew she was full of it. Shoveling it a little too deep for me. But, Thats how most guys are, they dont decide that a pretty face just isnt enough until they're at the altar, then they realize that pretty face just isnt enough to hold up for the next 4 years.

The concept of a progressive tax on income is Marxist. In fact, its one of the planks of the Communist Manifesto.

A tax on income is a tax on labor. If government taxes a portion of your labor, they in effect, own that portion of your labor. Therefore, a tax on income is a slave tax.

A tax on consumption is what the Founding Fathers had in mind. Its an excise tax and was included in the Constitution. A consumption tax (sales tax) is the tax of free men.

What irritates me is they tax the winners of Survivor. If I was starving on an island for 6 weeks to win a million dollars I would have to tell the fatties in Washington to fuck off. Maybe if they starved for 6 weeks to EARN their share of the tax.

Taxation is beyond control these days, hell you have to pay a tax on your coffin when you die and your cemetary plot was well. How screwed up is that? Still being taxed even after death.

Huh? One side better than the other? Are you kidding? Read my post over again ... it applies to anyone who supports a progressive tax on income ... Democrat, Republican, Independent ... I don't give a damn who supports it, its still a Marxist concept and has no reason to exist in a truly free society.

What are your thoughts?

I can't believe you consider this a truely free society, what a joke. I'm free to have to wear my sealtbelt or be penalized. I'm free to smoke weed but be penalized. I'm not free to enjoy all the money I earn, but I'm free to hand a large portion over to washington. I'm free to choose the same ideas disguised as 2 different parties. America is anything but a free country. Hell I can't even be free from illegals, they are everywhere.

Did I say that this was a truly free society? If I did, please point it out. I said "In a truly free society," not "In THIS truly free society." Honestly, if you would just take the time to read my posts and absorb what's in them, instead of being so damned negative, you would see that you and I are on the same page on MOST issues. My desire is to see this country become the truly free society it once was. And believe me, a President Obama is a giant step backward from recovering that society.
