I get my weed in the Mission district in San Francisco. It's Homeless Central, with every, color ,creed, and mental afflicted person walking, sitting , or sleeping on the sidewalks. The parking lots have people who work but sleep in their cars. Needles and poop are everywhere! The politicians keep these people as pets, not letting a crisis go to waste. They have them block streets, throw infected blood on passer-by people, and March for what ever will get them free drugs. The local politicians b4 Trump are the ones that lost a handle on the homeless. I'm homeless cuz housings is not affordable. For those that think it's not a problem, don't stumble and fall in the streets, they will eat you alive. Peace.
Could you find work elsewhere? Somewhere that has more affordable housing? If theres parking in san fran id just get a work van and make a little spot to crash.

LOL, non-sequitur? When you call somebody a hypocrite, especially when it isn't true, you make your own history part of the discussion. You really ought to make amends for your hypocritical past and give that money you stole from that woman back. You didn't earn it in that hotel room that you callously put that woman you had abused into harms way. Give it back to her, hypocrite.
It’s again obvious that he’s an idiot. Using that term to counter your statement shows his ignorance. He makes this all to easy.

Years ago mental institutions were closed. Several in my area. We used to joke at work some of the new hires were patients. Obviously people can't live in those situations. But the solution is not easy. Politicians want to be elected. They hate to seem mean. But solutions that work need to be found. Pointing fingers doesn't help. Some people just can't function at the needed level in today's world. Inner city and rural areas are a mess also. Used to be manufacturing paid decent and trained people. In the sixties and seventies manufacturing was doing well. 6 weeks apprenticeship as a machine operator and you could make enough money to raise a family, buy a house and a couple used cars. The wife could stay home until the kids were older. Now we have very few decent paying jobs. Some think $12 an hour today is money. I know assembly positions today paying $9 an hour to start. Automation has decimated employment in manufacturing and food processing. Same with farming. None of this helps the slower or mentally slow people. Answers?

Homeless people tend to move to areas with nice weather. Hawaii has problems as well. Not many homeless around here. Underemployed underachievers or people with substance/mental health issues possibly.

Move to the Cincy area. You'll have to drop weed use. But tons of jobs and affordable rent. Very few crime issues in the correct area. I stopped smoking weed for twenty plus years with kids a wife and life hitting me. Then pick up some tech schools training here and in a couple years $75k is very possible. Or more. It's been good here for 20 years or so. Good luck!

Yeah, we sure do believe your story. So, you have to buy your weed in the Mission district. Where do you drive into the city from? Tulelake?

Your post matches perfectly what Faux News is telling the people who don't live there.

Why don't they just create public bathrooms and public shelters that are ran by homeless people. Gives them a house and an income. They could give the workers access to treatment and job placement. Stops the shit and tents on the street. How about valuing the houses at what one would actually cost if it had a horde of homeless shitting outside, to give more people access to property?

You are only looking at one route that leads to homelessness.
Not really, I think there are many causes, many are attributable to government too.

I used one example of why a person could be homeless because they made a choice. @ttystikk mentioned something about people didn't choose to be homeless. The corollary to making a bad choice and ending up homeless, is some people DO choose to be homeless, since they were aware spending the rent / house payment on frivolous things would result in homelessness.

Hi, I don't know you so I don't owe you, but here goes.
I'm retired from working 35+ years, some of it working for the Federal Govt. I have paid my dues, my taxes, and my respects to many. So thanks but no thanks for any assistance you might think I need.

These two sounded like they wanted to help you and you sound like you want to argue.

Or maybe I didn't read their sarcasm?
