Chicken shit yah neighbours yard that will make em happy
I ment just next to it so it pumps fresh air around it people under estimate the can fans. Get a cheap 6inch fan and filter then if smell is still a issue grab a name brand filter say can fan brand or phresh from a local grow shop. That should take care of it if the cheap brands like ipower and vivosun couldn't.how will you put the inline carbon filter to the ac? the carbon filter alone will help with smell but i was suggesting the two vent portable because it dont work the same as the one vent!
The dual-hose design utilizes two separate exhaust hoses, one of which will function as air exhaust hose and one that will draw air in from the outside. The air that is taken in from the room is cooled inside the unit and then expelled back into the room.
The single hose air conditioner pulls warm air from the room, sends it past coils cooled by refrigerant, and then sends heated air and moisture through the hose and out of the house.
the single pulls the air in and also puts out the smell... the dual hose dont!
Can you elBorate that for me. You had smells but now don’t ??? And you don’t I take or exhaust outside air ???
Phresh filters makes inline carbon filters. Expensive.I thought they make a filter I can just cut my vent into 2 and put filter in between but there’s only 1 flange on one side looking @ photos. Do they make one with a flange on both sides???
question?I thought they make a filter I can just cut my vent into 2 and put filter in between but there’s only 1 flange on one side looking @ photos. Do they make one with a flange on both sides???
Air conditioner. Portable for removing and wall unit for inquestion?
How does your room remove or cool air? does it have a traditional intake?
Any photos of this Thanks a bunch either way.Get a piece of 6 inch galvanized vent pipe, cut it to 3", then get some stainless steel screen 200 mesh count, Aperture 0.075mm, cut (2) square 9" x 9" pieces, then use a zip tie to seal one end of the 3" x 6" pipe. Then fill the 3" x 6" pipe with activated carbon, I get mine from "Delta Enterprises Inc", then seal the other end using a zip tie with the other peice of 9" x 9" screen, then just splice your AC vent with that pipe and you will have a inline carbon filter that will filter the most stinkiest flowering plants you can throw at it!
Can you be more specific on the carbon. Is it sheets / pellets / etc ???Get a piece of 6 inch galvanized vent pipe, cut it to 3", then get some stainless steel screen 200 mesh count, Aperture 0.075mm, cut (2) square 9" x 9" pieces, then use a zip tie to seal one end of the 3" x 6" pipe. You use it on a AC or scrubber ??I had the same issue as you and short answer is you can't unless you use a carbon filter in that room.
What is happening is the smell in the room is condensing in the A/C unit and leaking out.
And don't make your own filter. Just buy one off Amazon. I use the G-HYDRO 6 Inch Air Carbon Filter and it's worked over a year. It's $50 and refillable with activated charcoal.
If you're growing in a tent, you just put the filter in the tent and your exhaust fan sucks air through that filter and out of your tent. Then it doesn't matter what air the a/c pulls, it's all clean. You use it on a AC or scrubber ??
Will this make bud not taste or smell as strong since its not basking in as much of its smelly goodness?Scrubbing.....24/7.

No odor in grow room.....no odors to leak.
Also provides circulation, and more important to me is the filtering of dust and other particulate so it's not in my weed.
Educated guess. No. Clean air is a mustWill this make bud not taste or smell as strong since its not basking in as much of its smelly goodness?
With a filter on your exhaust...my tent is always sucking in clean air with decent exhaust fan and passive intake but when I open the doors I still smell my plants smell waft out of it... I guess I wasn't thinking too hard this wouldn't work the same in the open room like my dehumidifier does while my plants are in the tent, would it even work in a tent? seems like the carbon filter is pretty much a must with the exhaust. don't plan on using it just curious.
