I'd say KISS AMAP but if you have something that works for you go for it. Eg. A scale and stir plate probably isn't Kiss but I have a routine, it's very zen, I take my time yadda yadda. I use powders, so kiss there I guess.
Use the largest and tallest tent you can. A small tent is great to start with. It's great to see what you can squeeze out of your 2x2 or 2x3, I've done it.
Just get the bigger one, trust me
You don't have to light the entire thing like a stadium.
Buy bigger than you think you need, unless you know for absolute certainty that you will never need it. Fans, exhaust, filters. You'll enjoy the headroom until you can step up again.
