Wow, that's not at all what I expected. So they have the botanicare spacers to keep the tubes/rollers spaced and parallel, then they just set it on there and set the trays on top and align it all mostly by eye? And if you were being silly and loaded up just one side with plants, it'd tip?

I can’t really say how they put them together, I had a day job at the time, so I wasn’t here to watch. But they did use a laser to line everything up. We’ve used the hell out of them, they get moved several times a day as we water/trim etc. and no, they will not tip over, they are bolted to the concrete floor. Trays are rated at 150 lbs per sq ft.

Just in case, I don't mean it as a knock because they're dope tables, just curious because it'll help me understand how they work...if you loaded up one side of the tray with pots, would the tray tip? Not the entire table, but the tray part that's sitting above the rollers.

I would say no, they are held to the frame....

Do you have to do something with that doohickey in order to roll the trays? Anyway, thanks again for the pics, they definitely show what they're doing for a rolling mechanism and doesn't look like it'd be too tough to build something similar.

No, you can move them easily with any part of the tray.. I only use those green handles to move them with my leg, otherwise I just grab the tray anywhere.

Oddly enough, they stay where you put them by balance or some other kind of voodoo.

One table did want to drift on me, but all’s you have to do is loosen the lock nut and adjust.

That's where all that nice leveling hardware and laser measurements come into play.

Have you used the FS Rolling benches? I’m curious which ones are better. I’m trying to get a couple made this week and can’t figure out which route to go.

I have not used them. They look legit though. It's not a complicated thing, they claim theirs is faster to put together and thats always good on a large scale.

TBH If someone has a welder and a chop saw they could build a great frame and set some lengths of iron pipe on top. lol Pennies on the dollar style.

I keep thinking about buying a welder but I always feel like someone else is gonna make these better for me.
