12x9 bedroom setup advice.

I currently have 2 5x5 tents and a 4x4 tent in a 12x9 bedroom. I want to remove the tents and just use the whole room so I can fit 4 4x4 flood tables. My main concern is sealing off the door so light doesnt peak through the bottom and smell escaping. I've seen those long plastic strips they use in warehouses. Would this help being behind the door?the room is in the back of the house. Also the strain I run isnt a dank smell. My guys couldnt even pinpoint the smell but I still want to do it right. I planned on cutting a hole into the attic to remove heat and smell with a carbon filter. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Will do. I'm trying to fit 4 4x4 tables in the room for a perpetual harvest. I just want to make sure smell wont be an issue. I use tents and they help with the smell but they also leave empty space. A 10x10 would work but the room isnt big enough for it

Don't let any bugs get in there. A perpetual is extremely hard to get back to clean without letting the room run empty.

i run a perpetual and i have it split into a veg area and a flower area. you might want to think about leaving that 4x4 tent in one corner on it's own timer to veg in. i pull one plant every 7 to 10 days, and stick the largest plant i have in veg into flower. i take clones off of it when it's been in the flower room for about a week. usually by then, the clones from the last plant have rooted up and i pick the best one, cull the rest, and start the ones i just took from the new plant.
splitting the area also allows you to treat plants in veg if they get any pests, with no chance of contaminating plants in flower, which aren't necessarily infected.

If it’s going to be a long term thing .
I’d remove the old door n jam , n replace with a metal exterior door .

I've been lucky to not have anything yet. My 1st year I had to deal with gnats. That was fun but I've learned from it

Been running sog style. I prefer that over bigger plants. Easier for me to do everything while also working a 12 hour a shift job. The 4x4 mother tent will be moved to another place in the house

i've never had the room, and they charge by plant count here, so i try to stay under the probation/prison line....
but that's cool, better to have them in totally separate areas if possible.
