i'd like to just agree with you...but i don't think all politicians are corrupt pieces of shit who care about nothing but their own agendas.
while at the moment i'd say the republicans are ahead in the who sucks the most race, most days it's about a dead heat.
they do what they have to do to be effective at their jobs. they have to trade favors back and forth among themselves. the good ones don't allow themselves to be placed in a position where someone can demand something immoral or unethical of them. that probably puts them at a disadvantage, but it doesn't leave them liable to being subpoenaed to testify about shady shit they've been involved in....which is starting to sound more important than it used to.
i don't know of any REAL scandals around Biden, Warren, Sanders,...really, none of the top democratic candidates. the republikkkans....not so much...few problems for them right now....some subpoenas looming on the horizon.....
