Stem rot, wilted leaves. Fungus? How to treat? Help!

Imho it's stem canker.
Besides the general look of the branch, it's the description of nylon string causing a wound, leaving it open for infection.

Maybe I'm wrong, but it definitely does look like canker to me.

It might be; I had already seen some of them under the leaves (although I sprayed them)

it did come back but i suspect other variables are at play

what humidity do you mean for high?
I just converted C to F and your max is 95F . Combine this and you are lucky your seeing this with such little bud growth-- later on it will be detrimental.
sometimes relating to other growers is nice when they know your climate/approx location

with such types of an environment I might think I wouldn't give you the best info, but I could be sure of that knowing your humidity range

Im also wondering how close you are to the equator, and if this specific genetic disagrees with it

I am on Southern Hemisphere, around 4000km away from the Equator. Close to Blumenau, southern Brazil, in the middle of Mata Atlântica coastal rain forest - humidity right now is 91%

I think you are going to have a hard time growing with that type of humidity especially if you don’t have genetics that work well for your area
I will check tomorrow what that kush type is
how are you growing it? What type of light/ grow setup
the rain forest would be a tough place to fully mature weed but I’m sure people who have experienced it have some tricks yo their sleeves

91 % humidity is crazy.
If you are growing inside and cant get the humidity below a constant 55% RH during flowering, you are inviting mold an all sorts of fungus to your thick buds.
The underlying issue here is your setup, maybe if we work on that you could pull off a grow. The plants will like a high humidity in veg but when you flower it, it will definately mold up.

I think you'll be fine cutting that dead branch off. It has really bounced back and looks happy you seem to be doing good as far as maintaining it goes

Do you know any local landrace strains? This would be already used to growing in your region and be a little more fitted for your situation maybe

I found this article about equatorial strains that I thought would help. I looked back on your old thread and these are outdoor plants. They will bud I think because you are south of the equator you're getting more hours of light than most strains will bud in. December you might be getting 14-15 hours of light. Cannabis isn't indigenous to rainforests but over time some strains have been found that will bud and mature there through nature over time, and humans introducing it.

You can deprive light to give it a 12/12 cycle and force flowering until the light cycle is back to 12/12

Cannabis is known to be a photoperiod-dependent plant; when summer draws to a close, the plants typically stop growing new shoots and leaves.

The same thing nearly everyone has said ...chop it off and bin it
No special treatment required

if the rest of the plant is fine you can just chop that one branch. To avoid infection or prevent fungus there are alot of things you could do.

I would treat where you cut the branch off with something. Heres a cool vid I just found on liquid prune sealer organic homemade liquid.
