How long do you guys veg for? Is it based on time or growth? 4of the 6 plants are between 19 n 23" . . . What are pros n cons if any of vegging for 2-2.5 months?

both, they are one in the same really. I veg for a long time because i LST and SCROG my plants, both methods add a bit of time but pay off later. Photo's will basically double in size after you switch to flower so most of the recommended veg times are for size restrictions

I had planned to wait til the week of the 29th to flip timer to 12/12. . But without doing any type of training or defoliation i feel like im running out of space. I was under the impression that i had 2 autos but it seems like only one. . . Will the 12/12 flip affect the auto and if so in what ways? Also how much of a stretch on avg should i be expecting after the flip? My apologies for the pink pics

Yes and it is. I usually defoil about half way through a 5-7 week veg and then again right before I flip them. Here’s a recent defoil about two weeks before these go into the flower tent

That is a humidifier for inside the veg tent. Without it the humidity is about 30-40

My set up is in my basement which is great because right now it’s -40C outside hahaha. I can control the environment better down there in winter and in summer we have central AC so all good

for dry amendments I use Dr.Earth 4-4-4 for growing during vedge,when I flip to flower I use Dr.Earth 3-9-4 Flower Girl during flower,and you can get Dr.Earth products at any Home Depot,iv been using them for many cycles and all with great success,good luck with your grow.i also do my thing in a 4x4.

Glad to hear only thing I've noticed is it like to dry out so I cover it up after amending w ricehulls now to keep it from drying out was using hydoton but it's a pain

iv noticed that as well but ill have to try that thank you,i have a problem keeping my dogs from licking the top of my pots using Dr.Earth,they love the smell it gives when I top dress my pots

I vedge for 2.5 months,it gives me a chance to train her out the way I want her to look and that takes me bout 2.5 to 3 months,make sure you pic a pot that will allow a 2.5 month vedge period and then flip to flower,theres nothing wrong about how your doing it
