Bernie Sanders 2020

Bernie is gonna win. I can't wait to see all the neoliberal losers on this sub cry about it for the next few years.

He's leading Iowa, he's tied or leading in new Hampshire, he's got a strong chance in Arizona, Nevada and he's leading California.

The palpable anger I see tossed his direction by people who stan for Warren is amazing.

She isn't going to win, I like her but she lacks the loyalty/enthusiasm required by her base, and Bernie is successfully chipping away at her support.

Don't worry folks I stop by every few months to confirm my prior hypothesis. Everyone who's upset about the warmongers like Hillary losing, they're in need to sate their bloodlust, and so they linger on these forums hoping to hurt the feelings of socdems and demsocs.

2020 is going to be fun. Uncle sniffer ain't got this.
You really think the DNC will nominate an outsider? I hope the superdelegates do their job and keep him from cheating us.

You've already admitted that you don't want to support your thread argument because you don't understand the topic.
Wealthy people don't want to have their taxes raised, that's the only reason we don't have a single payer system of healthcare in America. It's not because it's too expensive, because it's cheaper, it's not because we can't because we can, it's because those that can already afford healthcare don't care to pay more to provide it for those that can't.

Not all of them actually.
that's the only reason we don't have a single payer system of healthcare in America
Also not so. We don't have it because of genuine opposition to it. Furthermore, Bernie's plan would increase everyone's taxes, by a very large amount. Healthcare is just a third of his economic agenda and even the 32.6 trillion dollars it would cost in the first ten years can only be half funded by the taxes on the wealthy included in the bill. This has been presented to you repeatedly, yet you continue to make these dishonest posts and even changing threads to run from this fact.
It's not because it's too expensive
It is too expensive, unless huge tax hikes on the middle class are implemented. If his entire economic plan were enacted we'd all lose two thirds of our pay and the rich would lose 3 quarters of it. 32.6 trillion dollars would be the biggest pricetag of anything, ever, in the history of mankind and it's only a third of his economic agenda.
because it's cheaper
This might be correct, it is slightly cheaper than the aggregate cost of all healthcare in the US, but only slightly and only if you average it over a decade. For the first few years, it would actually cost more than the entire current federal budget. However, that is only the low end estimate. It could cost as high as 49 trillion dollars according to some industry experts.
it's not because we can't because we can
No, it's because of the tax hikes and also the fact that people would rather have choice. It can only happen if choice is taken away and replaced by huge tax hikes, for everyone, not just the rich.
it's because those that can already afford healthcare don't care to pay more to provide it for those that can't.
Also false. The ACA is extremely popular and so is 'Medicare for all who want it'. In fact, almost every single lawmaker who once voiced support for Bernie's braindead bill has now come out fully against it. Even Warren had to completely rethink how to implement single-payer due to Bernie's lack of half of the funding for his plan. Most people are willing to take a small tax hike to see universal coverage.

ahhhh whos the popular senator in the usa?
The only polls that mean anything are election polls.

Bernie lost to Clinton by a whopping 12% margin.

Is this where you bring up Trump winning the electoral college and therefore became one of a few presidents who won an election despite losing the majority vote?

Speaking of polls, more than half of the people in this country think he should be removed from office.

Also, Biden is the Democratic party's favorite to win the nomination.

But, hey, Bernie is "popular". LOL.
