Nice set up man. I like the design.

its the pretty much the first info showing up when you open the samsung page.Yeah. What he said. People like sources when you state things otherwise it could be bullshit (not saying you're bullshitting) or they have to go looking for the answer themselves. Both are frustrating...
lol I was thinking the same thing! My last shipment was sketchhhh.Received my two qb288 from kingbrite, packaging was really good. I was worried because someone posted here that they barely wrapped the drivers and could have been damaged. I think they read this thread.
4 of them at 800w total should work nice, more symmetric than 3 and better spreadWhat do you guys think about running 3 or 4 of these in a 5x5? Would 3 be enough for the space or should i go with 4?

You were reading my mind about the spread. I have a 3x3 that I've done well with using 1 HLG. Thanks.4 of them at 800w total should work nice, more symmetric than 3 and better spread
Hey mikey! Have you had the chance to put anything together yet?I just got my packages from KB. Pretty solid on the packaging as well, better than my first shipment for sure. Building the fixture this weekend so hopefully I will have pics up Sunday or Monday and flip my babies to flower.
Almost done! I’m going ice fishing tomorrow so between getting all my shit ready and building the light, I only managed to get the frame done and the boards wired up. The 730 strips will happen Monday. She’s looking fresh! I will post action pics Monday. The electrical tape on the drivers is only temporary lol. They’ll be bolted down.Hey mikey! Any way you could sketch this up in a drawing app? I'm having trouble visualizing what you're saying. I'm currently planning a 5x5 too so I'm trying to gather as many ideas as possible. The 240 fixtures have power for a 4x2 but spread for a 3x2. Put them in a square, eachone doing a corner and part of a wall so each side is covered by the long end and the short end of a 240 unit. That way you avoid hotspotting and week corners. Does it make.sense? The 3' side of one 3x2 and the 2' side of another one for each 5' side.
Sorry, on my phone so i cant. Just do this: take some squared paper and draw a 5x5 in squares, then fit in 4x 3x2 sections in the 5x5 with one empty square in the middle. You can only do it one way. The middle square will have enough from cross lighting and thus avoid a hotspot.Any way you could sketch this up in a drawing app? I'm having trouble visualizing what you're saying. Have you tried it out for even light spread? Those middle boards may concentrate the light to the middle. But if you have separate drivers for the middle 2 you could manage this by dimming.Almost done! Greengene's said that both diodes are exactly the same, including sulfurization. He just did a youtube tech talk yesterday.what about the
Anti-sulfurization of the LM301H ?
i saw this never stated for the LM301B.
Ahh I gotcha, I was way to tired when I first read that, lol.Sorry, on my phone so i cant. There was an instructor that would leave a charged capacitor on every desk the first day of school. Someone always got an education.Back in high school my electronics teacher had an AC generator that was operated with a hand crank. He's make the whole class hold hands with one student at each end holding a wire coming off of the AC generator. Then he would slowly crank the generator and progressively speed up the cranking, which would increase the voltage, until a student couldn't handle the voltage and would let go to break the circuit. Good times. I doubt teachers could get away with that stuff these days tho.
I’m hoping to have my buddy come over with his par meter some time tomorrow or Tuesday. Anyone know of any places in Ontario, Canada that rent quantum meters?Have you tried it out for even light spread? Those middle boards may concentrate the light to the middle. Looking good enjoy your fishing

Yeah that frame is definitely an open concept and a work in progress. I may even say fuck it and buy three more boards and heat sinks after my current run. Have 9 boards at 80w a price, 3 boards a driver. I’ll definitely be building this light up as time goes on.
Also HOLYFUCK! Kobe Bryant’s dead! And his kid. So brutal, he was a good dude. Lots of charity work and helping under privileged kids. As well as giving us all the confidence to sink that ball of paper in the trash can from 20 away by yelling “KOBE!” 2020 is fucked so far. Glad I got my shipment before this corona virus business.
