Hi All,

First time grower and poster, So I started the flowering stage of this plant on the 19th of December, went on vacation....a friend was suppose to keep up the watering for me but did not.....leaves turned brown and styarted to fall off but the buds still look ok, once i started watering again its coming back to life, question is its been flowering for over a month now and the buds don't seem ready to harvest yet or is it just me? maybe cus of the lack of watering while I was away it needs more time? thanks for any help.

I'll be blunt. That plant looks like shit. Foxtailing/revegging hard to tell. Regardless, it's nowhere ready to harvest. I'd get something else going ASAP and keep that on 12/12 to see what happens. Get all that dead material off the plant. Depending on how much time you want to spend on that plant your best bet might be to just go to 18/6 lighting, reveg, and then reflower. Sorry I don't have anything good to tell you but it is what it is.

Good luck.

The dead leaves need to go. Also. Please don't take Any ones comments as being a jerk. Take it as we are upset for you and that poor girl! Def need detaiks. Light ya use. Soil. Soze pots. Nutes. Light schedule. Water and feed schedule. All of that info and we can start to help
Hey sorry for the late reply, I''m not taking anyone's advise as being jerks, I know I am a first time grower and by no means an expert. Thats why I posted here, so thanks everyone for your comments even though they are sad...lol any ways to answer your questions please see below.

1) Clean the dead material off the plant = Done as much as I felt comfortable with doing, some of the dead material is still attached pretty good to the green stuff and didnt want to pull it too hard.(you can see in the pics ive attached)

2) Light = is a SunSytem brand, im not sure of the wattage...I threw the box away but they guy at the hydroponics store said it was good....(pic of light is also attached)

3) Soil = M3 Michigan Made Mix, I was told buy the guy at the store (same as above) that it was a hot soil (loaded with nutrients) and was fine from seedling till harvest.

4) Pot size is pretty big I guess, around 18" dia. maybe and about the same deep.

5) light cycle started at 24 hours, then moved to 12/12 around when it started to flower.

6) Temp hasn't been maintained as much as i would like but it stays between 73-80 and humidty is at 15%.

You're going to need some good clippers for pruning if you want to harvest this plant anyway, so there's really no excuse for not removing dead foliage.

And I may be mistaken, but a "hot" soil means it's loaded with nitrogen. You would still benefit from other fertilizers and additives, like cal-mag (probably want to use one low in Nitrogen, like CALiMag, as you already have plenty), a flower booster (low N, high P-K), micronutrients, and carbohydrates if you want to see good results.

I'd have to say trash that plant honestly. That m3 soil is trash. Find dairy doo's 201 and 301 fill half of the pot with 201 then fill the rest with 301 and plant.it looks like the plant grew into the light for starters and next time do better and chalk this up as a learning experience.

No m3 is a terrible Michigan based soil. It was supposed to be a super soil and they failed. Dairy doo and Detroit water only soil are the only 2 I'd consider.

Excuse me, but you may wish to consider completing a grow successfully before offering bad assistance to others. When you can show me this. I'll find you somewhat credible until then you are off the mark.

I'm so sorry. You have just demonstrated the meaning of apomixis. Just start over when you have a stretch of time you don't have to leave your girls. However if you finish this, if those seeds are not sterile, then you will have guaranteed females so all may not be lost you can plant them and start over.

Good luck.

Done.
Care to tell me what I said that you disagree with?
