I'm one too tbf I did a fair bit of research after I brought it and I could have done a lot worse....uh oh.... another "1200w" led buyer lol? let me guess, it was around 100$?

Thanks man I really appreciate the insight! Mistakes are made all the time and refusing to acknowledge them is a wasted learning opportunity imo. I learn more from failing than I do succeeding I guess. And I would like to say thank you for your service to this country!Hey at least you admit your mistake and you didn't try to reason or back yourself up for buying a crappy light by saying dumb shit like "well so and so said it produced a pound of top self bud for him". People on this site will call you out quicker then you can blink. So you have my respect for your honesty.
It's in a red 12 inch potIs that a solo cup your seedling is in? I can't tell
It's a different light but it's off Amazon too. I hope I'm not making the same mistake. I am admittedly very gullible. What's 1200 did you get dude?
I think your plant is so small because most of the growing is going on below surface + 25 watt light is probably not driving the growth the way you'd want. With the new light and some patience, you'll see plenty growth. Try not to over water. It's harder to gauge when to water when they're so small in large containers. It's in a red 12 inch pot
I will definitely keep that in mind. Yeahhh"【No Reflector More Safer】 As we all know that led reflector give the grow light a beautiful look, but it is not heat-resistant and prone to short circuit. Which can cause it to catch fire. So our 1200w led grow light give up the reflector and ensure safety. What’s more, using isolated power supply, relatively linear and non-isolated more secure."
bahahaha
Awww, don’t feel like that. It’s easy to be fooled by shady advertising. I totally fell for it in the beginning in the end I went with HLG and I learned from my mistakes. Good luck and happy growingYeahh I was surprised I found one that cheap too. It advertised to be able to grow tomatoes. I feel like a dumbass
Yah, you will defo get better results than with the one you have... I'll leave it at that.. there is so many different aspects to lighting that you could do a PhD in many different subjects, one thing to look at is the actual pull from the wall claims to be 235wattIt's a different light but it's off Amazon too. Ah that makes sense. Maybe I should instead get a PhD in controlled environmental agriculture so I can learn what the best lighting is!Yah, you will defo get better results than with the one you have... Would be awesome aye!! I started watching lectures on YouTube and just got so lost with it all plus you need expensive kit to test your own lightsAh that makes sense. Maybe I should instead get a PhD in controlled environmental agriculture so I can learn what the best lighting is!
To do deep analysis, sure. But a good tool to have for any grower is a lux meter. I cant tell you how many times i assumed my lighting distance/position was just fine but when i checked with a meter my distance was off altogether or i had hot/cold spots that were getting more or less light than other bud sites. Ive made it a habit to have my meter nearby the light at all times and check my numbers often. I cant imagine how many times i was probably wrong before i got this thing lol.... for less than $40 its probably paid for itself 10 times by now. I cant recommend it enough, link below for anyone interested.plus you need expensive kit to test your own lights
That's awsome dude! Will defo buy! Have you compared it to the free smart phone apps? I'm making do with them at the moment. also I've read that lux meters don't give correct readings on LEDs because they don't pick up all spectrums that led give off any idea if thats true ?To do deep analysis, sure. -Dr Meter Lux meter @ Amazon-
Ive recently had this debate with someone on here lol. I think those apps are trash. phones arent designed to be light meters. Better than nothing im sure but id much rather have the tool designed just for that application. I dont like relying on "maybe"s lol. Ive also heard the meters arent accurate for blurple LED's but i use HLG, different type, white light. That's awsome dude! Will defo buy! Have you compared it to the free smart phone apps? I agree, I will defo purchase that meter. Are you using diy HLG? I'm just starting to look into it now. So much to learn but defo like the look of these HLG kitsIve recently had this debate with someone on here lol. I think those apps are trash. phones arent designed to be light meters. Damn dude! That's literally a dream to me honestly. Very impressive!100% amazon lights here with my grow. Dont let people tell you that you cant grow great weed with amazon blurple LED's. People tend to think that if you spend thousands on your lights it's going to increase your yield a 1000%. Do top shelf high end high priced lights work better? probably, but it's not by much.
