Nope, not bitching at all, but Sanders ain't Obama
Iowa is going to shorten the field & get it down to 3 viable candidates, which is all it's good for in my opinion.
Otherwise, as far as being representative of the national Democratic voter, they mean little.
Sanders can/will win Iowa & NH, but he'll still going lose the nomination for POTUS on a national level I think.
At least I hope so
Ok, so you hate Iowa for going first, guess some state has to do it. Which state do you think represents the national interest the best?

With it's diversity I would choose California.
Plus they hate Trump, so they must be doing something right :)
So you want a big state that makes it impossible for smaller candidates to purchase ads. I think that would be bad for democracy but guys like Bloomberg would love it!

Am I the only one noticing that the left, who has been far left for quite some time, is coming to grips with how far left they are publicly?

Yea, I want the popular vote to count, not some Electoral College shite that should have be done away with by now in the 21st Century.
As far as money goes in politics, that's the way it's always been & always will be.
Cash talks & if you ain't got the money, tough shit.
Welcome to the reality of America, no matter how sad that may be.

Would you stop there at the popular vote just for president? How about raising the smoking age to 21, popular vote? Or should congressional delegate numbers only be reserved for partisan impeachments and such, or should they be reserved at all?

Iowa screwed everything up. I think Iowa's days of being first are officially over.
Not really. I think that going first is literally in their state Constitution. So if a state set theirs at Jan 15th, Iowa would have to bump theirs up too. But from now on, nobody will care.

That doesn't matter. They can set it anytime they want, but if the DNC and GOP decide not to attend it at all, it's going to be meaningless. That's probably what's going to happen. They've been looking for a reason for years to get rid of it.
